Certainly not the best beach in Santorin...sad, grey, old materials (matresses etc...)
Nothing to compare with the stunning Red Beach !!

Of course it may be a totally different scenario in the height of the season but the black “sand” was great as it wasn’t sticky Not pestered too much except for offers of massage even though we were right by our hotels spa area Great restaurants & bars & creperie Thoroughly recommend the resort in general

The bus from Fira in Santorini takes you right here in about 20 minutes. The sand is black and there are many hidden treasures to find (I went home with a lot of seaglass). There are a ton of restaurants but they are very pushy about trying to get you to eat there. I was skeptical, but we just chose one at random and the food was good. I recommend for a day trip while in Santorini.

Pretty beach with a town of souvenir shops and restaurants to go along with it. When we were there late October the surf was pretty strong so families with young kids be aware. Cute town, lovely church and on the bus line for Santorini

Lovely long beach with plenty of choice of loungers, their free if you have lunch in the restaurant behind you.... the only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is it’s a little big and busy for my personal tastes, preferring the much quieter Akro beach.... but it’s still good here, loads of choices of restaurants and bars along this strip too.

It’s a lot better than kamari beach, and it is a lot calmer, and quicker.
Perissa beach looked more welcoming with bars and restaurants across the road from the beach.
Great beach to chill out, and away from everything.

This beautiful 7 km black sand beach is in front of honeymoon beach hotel that I have vacationed at for 20 years. A beautiful boardwalk with lots of shopping and nite clubs, water sports galore. You will return here❤️

Just a bus ride away from Santorini centre! Spend a few hours relaxing on this black beach. The mountains are your backdrop...the black volcanic sand your carpet...
The water is clean and refreshing. Rent a sun bed for €5 and relax!
Plenty of restaurants close by...

Unfortunately it rained just as we set off to go to the black beach. The beach in itself was ok but the weather got worse and so was heavily raining. We did meet some Americans there and so ended up in a nice chat but unfortunately for us we had the bad weather and end of season. There isn’t many shops around there to be honest although prices of some items slightly cheaper than Fira. All in all I probably wouldn’t go back unless there was decent weather to tempt me.
