“Beautiful”

Awesome black sand!! But too hot to walk on. Beautiful place. Renting an umbrella with 2 beds cost 6 euros. No public bathroom.

Thank yaamur

The beach is clean, sunbeds are comfortable and usually there is no charge if you buy a drink or snack. The sea was a little cold in late June, but the black sand is very hot and can burn your feet if you're not careful, beach shoes are a good idea. There are plenty of places to eat and drink, or mini-supermarkets to buy snacks and take back to your sunbed. The only thing that was missing was the sunset, but it's still beautiful with a pink glow in the evening.

Good service from restaurants - we specifically liked the Acropolis - but some hassle from people trying to sell 'stuff' on the beach.

Lovely beach, sand very hot, so take some flip-flops. A little difficult to get into the sea but very nice. The sun-loungers and umbrellas are usually free to the customers of the respective taverna as long as breakfast or lunch is eaten there (usually a minimum spend of EUR10.00 per person)
