There are no words to describe that this is the BEST hotel to stay in, if you are visiting Santorini. Nothing else compares. You will overpay for a hotel overlooking the caldera. This location is close to the most amazing beach, and the rooms are amazing. The hotel staff are incredible and I promise you will not be dissapointed should you book here. This is the hotel to stay at, no questions. Thanks again Marios for the best stay ever - I will recommend it to all my fellow Canadians.

We stayed for 4 days and had a very nice stay. We were especially pleased with the service. Vicky, the receptionist, helped us to find our way around, recommended restaurants, and tours. Sooo extremely helpful and pleasant. The atmosphere was warm friendly. We would go back tomorrow if we could.

This tiny sweet place is so pretty and so greek in style I didn't want to leave. Marios & Vicky who manage Amelie work so hard to make your stay with them as pleasant as they can. Nothing is too much trouble. Rooms as basic but cleaned every day and it is located just five minutes away from the beach and the little bars are close by too.
All the Scottish folk that haven't stayed yet must make their stay here in my mind purely for the warm and friendly atmosphere coupled with the intimacy you feel once the gate to the hotel is closed. Pool bar is also really chilled out with Vicky or Marios behind the bar. I was there alone and they made me feel part of their family.
Thank you and I hope I have the pleasure of staying with you again.

The hotel is very nice, in a typical greek style, and it is less than 10 mins walking from the beach. There is the swimming pool with the bar in front the water, that is very nice at the sunset. The room are very small, and not clean very well, the bathroom is very minimal. The rooms are a bit noisy, the little fridge and the air conditioner splitter are not silent at all . They change you just blanksheets but not the sleep sgeets every day. The breakfast is a bit small and poor, with few things to choose. In general it is good if you do not want to spend too much (65/day) and you do not have particular needs.

Initially, being pregnant, I got myself worked about about every little thing about my holiday, having had 2-3 hours sleep, the WIFI not working etc and a really noisy, windy night - however, a day and a half into my break I finally relaxed (thank goodness for everyone involved!)
Rooms are basic, but very cute and VERY clean - we stayed at the top - and would recommend, tiny shower - but this is the norm in Greece, if you are unfortunate enough to get one that looks like a bday - god help you!
Every day fresh sheets and towels were replenished, and the hotel always smelt of clean washing. Breakfast again was basic, but if you can manage tea/coffee bread (often home made Jam by the lovely Vicky) and Greek yoghurt/honey - then you'll be fine - don't expect any hot stuff, it's continental all the way. But when you look at the price you pay for such a great hotel - and compare to any others you'll be blown away, it's a good deal - and you shouldn't miss out.
A stones throw away from the beach (the volcanic beach) and a street littered with cute tavernas, in my opinion, this B & B is in the BEST spot. If you want to eat cheaply - grab a Gyros from the corner shop with chips and Tzatziki - lovely!
It may not be the main part of the island, but we found the main part to be extremely hilly, and awash with tourists, naturally.
All the wonderful views are only a short bus ride away (2 buses to Oia) around 4 euros in total, and one bus about 20 mins to Thira. Worth doing this as a cheap option - and taxi's are massively overpriced.
Vicky & Marios gave us information for day trips/places to visit with a top recommendation from Vicky to go to the Sea side restaurant (perivolos) that took us 1hr to walk to (puffing and panting) but SO worth it - incredible, and cheaper than the overpriced restaurants in Oia!
We also hired a car (again recommended by Vicky) and had a little convertible Smart for the day - it was oodles of fun and we discovered lots of breathtaking views and would highly recommend.
Back to the hotel, the typical cyclades decor (white and blue) is awfully cute. The bar is clean and nice to chill out by, while the pool is very refreshing (NB: cold!) but slightly bigger than the average ones you'd find in Perissa. The rooms are adequate size, the whole feel of the hotel is lovely and relaxed - if I could tell the wind to shut it at night I would - very annoying. Our A/C was also very noisy (look into this!) but most hotels suprise you with a A/C bill at the end - which we didn't get - so it's all included.
But our stay was PERFECT - and we'd love to come back again with our little sproglet. We will be recommending to friends as the service was second to none and Vicky & Marios are stars - keep up the good work! Lauren & Dan xx

Room Tip: Ask for up the top, unless you have baby and need a bottom room - nice views up the top - we stayed...

Very friendly and helpful staff. Both Mario and Vicky were very knowledgable and gave great advice. The rooms are basic but exactly what you need for a beachside hotel. The pool was beautiful. We enjoyed staying in a quiet area, while it may not be the main part of the island it is definitely worth staying in if you dont want to be in the noisy and busy areas like Fira. Hotel staff assisted us with anything and everything. From helping us carry our luggage to organising private tours we were very impressed. We would definitely stay here again
