My husband and I visited Santorini for a week. It is a magical place - like a fairy tale land. We stayed at Mill Houses Elegant Suites all week. The accommodation is, by far, the best "hotel" experience we have ever had, and we have traveled in most parts of the world. The staff at Mill Houses care for your every need, with excellent English and big, friendly smiles. We stayed in a Junior Suite, and it was clean, spacious, and beautiful. We are accustomed to a king-size bed, so the bed was a little small for us, but the great points far outweighed this little inconvenience. We were served breakfast (included in the rate) every morning, at our convenience, overlooking the Aegean Sea. There was no set time for breakfast. You simply gave the office a call each morning when you were ready to be served.

One thing travelers must be aware of - the accommodations which overlook the sea sit well below the streets of the island. Therefore, there are many steps to ascend and descend each time you want to leave the Mill Houses. This hotel would not be good for anyone with bad knees or legs. You don't have to worry about your luggage though; the young men who work at the hotel easily lift your bags and carry them up and down for you.

I don't even know where to begin. The hospitality, the warmth, the generous nature of the staff... Although Santorini truly is a dream come true with its picturesque views and pretty, pretty atmosphere, it was the people at MHES that made our trip truly memorable. I will never forget the faces of these heartfelt and very sweet people who did everything possible to make our vacation and honeymoon unforgettable. It was better than my husband and I expected. Indulgent and spoiled rotten :-)

In this hotel we definitely will come again!!!the view from the room is awesome and stunning !!! the breakfast delicious and very close to Fira (only 10-15 minutes walking )choose the mill suite with the jacuzzi !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
