Most importantly, the food tasted wonderful and the server was very nice gentleman. But, that's as far as it goes. My wife came in and sat down and we wanted some time to look over the menu. Before you know it the waiter grabs our menus and starts telling us what we were going to order. HIs recommendations sounded fine to us. The deception was that we were the only customers there during that time and it was the winter season. He told us that he would give us a good deal on his recommendations. His friendly smile deceived us. In the end, we were charged for bread that we did not order and also charged for ordering hot water (not tea) - I have never been charged for ordering hot water, even in Europe, and not even in other restaurants in Santorini. Adding insult to injury, when the bill came, the prices were exorbitant compared to other restaurants in Santorini. This restaurant basically confirmed in my mind that one should never trust anyone, especially since they are out to make a buck. Yes, in the end I was the sucker, but at the same time, restaurant owners should not deceive patrons.
