Recommended by our hotel, this small restaurant is owned and run by Italians, and judging by the table turnover, is very popular with locals and tourists.
We both had pasta, after a week of Greek salads and grilled meats - a welcome change, and very well cooked and presented.
They also do pizza, and the takeaway counter was ticking over well. Give it a try if you are in Firostefani... a booking will get you an outside table, otherwise it's inside; either way you won't get a view of the caldera.
