“Amazing Hospitality!”
Reviewed September 24, 2013

We stayed at Ageri-Milos in August and it was the perfect accommodation! Nicholas (one of the owners) insisted on picking us up from port even though it only would have been about a 10 min walk to the Ageri. From that point on, his hospitality always exceeded our expectations! He recommended beaches, restaurants and would basically plan out each day for us. We even received beers/coffees/waters upon arrival, large frozen water bottles and a beach umbrella for our treks to the stunning beaches, transportation to/from the car rental facility, a bottle of wine on our last night etc. We had multiple issues with our buggy rental and Nicholas always went above and beyond to get them resolved for us. Ultimately, we made the right choice on Ageri and would absolutely return!

Arriving by ferry we were met by Nicholas who took us to the Ageri,a beautiful set of appartments just a little way out of the town.Having travelled round the Greek islands for the last 7 years for 3 months each time we have stayed at numerous forms of accomadation but this place is a real gem and can,t not be recommended to highly ,due to Nicholas and his family.

There is a reason Ageri-Milos is rated first of all the B and B's in Adamas. The owner, Nicholas, is an incredible host who is dedicated to helping travelers have a great visit to Milos. It was the first time my husband and I have visited any of the greek islands and we were a bit nervous about how to get from the ferry port to our accommodation, navigating the island, etc. Nicholas picked us up in his own car from the port and drove us to his hotel (under 5 minutes from the port as it turns out). He then proceeded to make us coffees, drove us to get a rental car from a business nearby and gave us a map with recommended beaches, restaurants and sights. Every time we returned to the hotel from an outing, Nicholas was helpful if we had any questions and often offered a coffee, beer to drink and one day even a piece of amazing cake his mom had made for the hotel guests! Nicholas even held an evening of "Greek hospitality" for all the guests to enjoy ouzo (Greek liquor), beer and food, all free of charge. Nicholas does all this for his guests because he clearly loves what he does and wants each guest to have a great experience on their vacation to Milos.

The room was spacious and clean, much nicer than we would have expected for the price we paid. We were in a room on the ground floor which did have a table and small patio area with a clothes line for hanging towels, bathing suits, etc. A sweet lady cleaned the room thoroughly each morning. The AC worked well, just know that the windows must be closed for the AC to work, which is common in many hotels in Greece. The only thing to be aware of when selecting a room is that there is a staff area on the side of the building which was right outside our window. There were times during the day and at night when we could hear them chatting back and forth (and if you've been to Greece, you know that Greeks aren't known for their quiet conversations!) It didn't bother us but I could see it being a consideration for others.

The hotel is not on the main Adamas beach (probably a ten minute walk down to it) but we didn't find that to be a drawback as the main beach is not worth going to. The best beaches on Milos are arrived at by car and are so amazing that we had no desire to go to the Adamas beach.

Overall, we give Ageri-Milos and Nicholas a big thumbs up for his hospitality and kindness as we discovered the beautiful gem of Milos island. We hope to be back again with family and friends and will no doubt stay with Nicholas again.

Second time in Milos. The owner, Nikolas makes this place special. If you want to experience the real greek hospitality, you have to stay at Ageri. Always there for me and friend, giving advice about places to go, where to eat etc. If you are lucky enough, you will be ask to join a folk party one night. This place makes you fall in love with the island and want to return every year.

It's just a no brainer :)

Go and enjoy!

Room Tip: Ask for a second floor, sea view room. From the balcony you see Adamas port and the sea.

We spent four lovely days in Milos and in the end we were all sure that we had made the right choice for our staying. Ageri was just what we were looking for. We were two couples, so we stayed at a big apartment with two bedrooms and a big, fully equiped kitchen. The apartment, as well as the rest property of Ageri, was very clean, the towels and linens were changed every day and all the staff working there were very kind.
Nikolas, the owner of Ageri is a real surprise. The comments cannot describe his kindness and hospitality. The first day he picked us from the port and he bought breakfast for us from the bakery!! He was always there for us, ready to give us advice about where to go for swimming, or food etc, he provided us with umbrellas for the sun and everyday he was giving us cold water for the beach. Moreover, everyday he had a different "gift" for us: coffees, beers, wine, fruits... The last night of our staying, we had returned the car that we had rented, so he drove us to Plaka, where we wanted to go for a drink! This guy is just amazing!!
In our opinion, Ageri is the only choice in Adamantas!! We hope to go back there some day!

We arrived in Milos on the 19th of August with 3 of my friends. We had a pick up from the port at 6:30 am (!!) by Nikolas. The guy is fantastic. He woke up, picked us up from the port, made coffee and sat with us until 9 giving directions on where to go and where to eat in Milos in all 4 days of our stay! He is the best! Very very friendly and social, you'll love him.
We stayed in the big apartment and everything was perfect. There was even water in the freezer for us and cold beer!! Very clean and spacious and really quiet allowing us for a quality sleep at night. The bathroom was spotless and the kitchen as if you were in your own house.
Thank you very very much Nikola and family and we will definately return to stay again.
