Enjoyed the different taste of food and setting but the slow service with kids makes it incredibly difficult

Personal service, an interesting looking menu and close to a family-friendly beach on Milos Bay. Local people spoke highly of this taverna.

Appetizers and starters were really tasteful but the main courses were cold and average. Apart the service was really poor and it took as 2,5 h to have dinner. Waiters look at you but they pass by...

O Hamos had all the traditional Greek dishes one would expect but at a much higher quality than the usual seaside taverna. The atmosphere was relaxing even though the place was bustling. The home made bread was outstanding as was the anginares (artichoke hearts and potatoes in lemon and egg sauce) and the pasta was divine. The wines by the bottle were reasonably priced and delicious with quite an extensive selection. While not being the most inexpensive restaurant on Milos, it was definitely worth the price for the best meals we had during our stay.
