We recently stayed for a couple of nights. The location was excellent and the roads immediately next to the hotel were surprisingly quiet despite the central location near the sea. The room was very good (it even had a bath with the shower, although we needed our own plug) and the staff couldn't have been more helpful or friendly. It is a sizeable hotel but the staff make it feel more like a smaller more intimate one. Although the breakfast was a buffet style affair, it was much better than similar buffet breakfasts we've experienced elsewhere. Definitely very good value for the price.

A warm welcome, parking right outside and just meters from the beach. We were given an upgrade to a junior suite, with sea views and also view out to the castle and town, with large balcony. A very friendly family run hotel. Great location, within walking distance into town, beautiful breakfast. Highly recommended.

We turned up in the evening and negotiated a good rate for a suite.
What a very nice hotel with friendly staff that speak good English. The suite was very nice and spacious, with great views over the water and the suspension bridge.
The breakfast was very good with lots of choice. Easy parking, with a short walk to many restaurants.
We would stay again.

Spacious and spotless, this hotel has quirky decor, decorated in the village style but with a great mix of modern furniture and old world knock knacks made for a homely feel. The owners obviously have a great eye for interior design and collectors' pride.
The room was spacious, quiet and clean. Bathroom newly renovated and roomy-great for a family.
I've had lots of hotel breakfasts but this is THE BEST breakfast by far. A vast range of fresh fruit, yoghurts, juices, breads, cereals, hot foods, you name it, they had it! Breakfast staff very attentive and friendly.
Fantastic value for money and located just metres from the beach. What more could you want! Would not stay anywhere else!
