“Soup and cheese in Montreuil”
Reviewed October 20, 2012

A very different meal, after arriving in Montreuil late in the evening, and wanting something light. This restaurant really provided a unique experience. Three pots of mouth-watering soup, presented in brightly coloured dishes on a plate, together with home-made bread for my husband and delicious cheeses for me (we have different dietary restrictions!) We could have had quiche which looked gorgeous and an array of desserts. The atmosphere was friendly and informal - we felt as though this was where the locals came, and my evening was made when the cat next door wandered in and made friends! Also amazingly good value. We recommended to our daughter who couldn't believe her luck!

“Warming and wonderful”
Reviewed October 9, 2012 via mobile

What a find and welcome! Really good home-made soups (all vegetarian), freshly made quiches and flamiches in a wood-fired oven. Home made bread, cold meats and cheeses with soups if you want it. Desserts looked good but we were too full! Excellent value for money - soups at €3, quiches €9 and €10.50 for both on thé menu. Fascinating old building right on the remparts. Highly recommended.
