We had been travelling through France and Switzerland for several weeks and settled in Arpaillargues near Uzes. We were met by Thierry, the charming owner of his beautiful chamber d'hotes: La Maison des Lauriers. We were invited to enjoy some wines and snacks together with other guests from Finland, Philippines and Germany. The atmosphere inside and outside of La Maison des Lauriers was just perfect and quite relaxing, mostly due to our host Thierry. The bedroom was equipped with all luxury one could wish for. The breakfast existed only of local bio products like cheeses, jams, meat and bread from the bakery next door. We can strongly recommend this exclusive chambre d'hotes to anyone who looks for perfect personal attention and cosy and quiet surroundings. We shall be back. Thanks Thierry.

This hotel is delightful. The stone decor of the rooms makes you feel like you are a part of its history. Fantastic shower, bed, views and with a welcome drink of Rose wine Thierry made us feel so welcome and was only too pleased to offer advice and recommendations for local restaurants (honestly given!). He even allowed me to park my 67 Mustang in his courtyard overnight. We will certainly be calling Thierry again to visit this wonderful hotel and almost unexplored part of France (for us anyway).

Room tip: Any room, but the views over the garden are superb.

We were surprised by the quality of the house and rooms and still an relaxed host.
The stay in the guesthouse was comparable with a luxurious hotel. The breakfast is very complete and taken care off.
Garden and pool are superb to take a break.
This is a place to revisit.

My girlfriend and I had a fantastic time in Provence and Thierry made our stay at "La maison des lauriers" even more enjoyable thanks to his kindness and generosity.
We loved the welcoming house, the bedroom, the pool and the rosé wines. Thierry prepared a delicious breakfast every morning made of homemade jams, season fruit salad and many more local delicacies.
We highly recommend Thierry's B&B and hope to return there soon.

We stayed one night at La Maison des Lauriers and wished we had left some room on our road trip through France for at least an extra night in company of our amazing host Thierry.
We felt like home as soon as we stepped in. After a brief tour of this beautifully decorated stone house, we were directed to a very spacious, quiet and comfortable bedroom.
We couldn't wait to relax by the pool where Thierry offered us a taste of some delicious local rosé wines - it was a perfect way to end an afternoon after a walk at the nearby breathtaking Pont du Gard.
For dinner, Thierry recommended and made a reservation for us in a great restaurant in Uzes (a must see village) only 5 minutes from Arpaillargues.
We had a hard time leaving this B&B after the delicious and freshly prepared breakfast made of local cheeses, ham, jams, homemade fruit salad and of course croissants, pains au chocolat and French baguette.
Merci Thierry & La Maison des Lauriers...
