Visited this restaurant while on a tour of coffee plantations. Had a great meal, excellent adult beverages and enjoyed the meal service. This is a place we would return to if we ever get back to El Valle De Anton

We stayed three nights while weather was not that good (lots of rain). the place has a nice Peruvian restaurant (excellent pisco sour) with a very friendly waiter who tried so hard to make you feel comfortable. The rooms are spacious; there is a nice pool and very nice gardens. The rooms are not modern but have all you need and were clean. It is about 20 minutes walk to the centre of town but very doable.

Room tip: the suite has its own balcony with a view over the gardens!

I don't think we got the best impression of this place. The first room we got smelled badly of moth balls. The second was not too bad, but in the night the wind was bad and the branches of the tree right over head made some extremely loud noises on the roof all night long. The furnishings were pretty outdated. This would have all been acceptable possibly, but the price was too high to make it acceptable.

While there was nothing extraordinary about our room (#20), the view from it's porch area was tremendous. Tall, steep mountains with their tops obscured by the clouds and lots of other lush greenery. The grounds of the entire property are beautifully landscaped and we found it very peaceful.
We didn't eat in the restaurant, other than the breakfast that was included in the room package as we found it to be a bit pricey.
Note: staff was nice, but none spoke much English. If you don't speak Spanish, Google Translate will get you through.
We would stay here again.

Room tip: get a room facing the mountains! (single-floor section)

The grounds are an absolute "10." The rooms are clean however somewhat dated. The restaurant for breakfast was good particularly if you dig into the fresh fruits readily available from the grounds and the surrounding area. However, the Peruvian cuisine for any other meal should be changed to a more traditional Panamanian style.
