Recommended length of visit: More than 3 hours
Owner description: We have 10 brand new machines and also a 6 passenger buggy for those who want to ride together as a group. This is an amazing ATV 4x4 ride through the rain forest about 2,000 feet up in the mountains. You will be driving through several streams on the jungle mountain road until we reach a 100 foot waterfall. After arriving at the falls, go for a swim or just relax in a hammock before the return to El Valle. This tour is over 3 hours and leaves at 9am & 1pm every day.

Our family of 4 went on this great tour on January 7, 2013 under the recomendation of a fellow worker from Canada. We are from Alberta and have done alot of quading in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, which is probably one of the best areas in the world to quad. Well, this trip rated right up there with great terrain, and spectacular vistas! The waterfall experience was fantastic which included a guide that took us right under the falls. This trip should be on your must do list while in Panama....you won't be dissapointed!

Four of us took part in Ty's ATV tour on Sunday October 21st. We had an absolutely amazing time viewing the scenery, driving the ATV's, playing in the falls and learning anything we could from Ty. Although we were not experienced ATV riders, we very quickly adapted and had an excellent time. Ty was a great guide and never once made us feel rushed in anyway. We were able to stop at several points during our ride to take pictures or just to ask any questions that we had. We look forward to doing this tour again the next time we visit Panama.

We took part in the ATV tour with Ty's, which was just amazing. You must do this. We drove through the mountains, saw some awesome scenery and swam in the most beautiful waterfall! We got back to Ty's for lunch in the afternoon. A very well presented, clean establishment, very inviting. The burger I had was one of the best I've ever had. Then we met Mona. What a fantastic little monkey! One of the highlights of our holiday. Keep up the good work Ty & Michelle, it's a brilliant place.

Worth the money! Ty took us on an ATV ride through El Valle and up into the mountains. The ride to the waterfall was challenging yet I did not feel overwhelmed. I am not an experienced ATV rider. Ty made sure we were all comfortable and let us know that if we felt like we could not make it down some of the hills he would ride the ATV down for us. We all did just fine and I was thrilled to try something new. We stopped along the way to take photos and Ty told us about the area. The waterfall was beautiful! The ride back was just as much fun and the view was spectacular. Enjoyed a great meal when we returned to the sports bar and enjoyed the wifi while we waited for the rain to stop. Thanks Ty and Michelle!

Great ATV tour!!! Challenging enough to be fun for the experienced rider, but safe enough for a beginner. We had a beginner in our party and she did just great. Ty and Michelle are very knowledgable of the area. The day we arrived we walked down to their restaurant and introduced ourselves. They welcomed us like old friends, even though we'd just met. On the ATV tour, Ty stopped at points of interest and explained the area. We stopped at a waterfall and did a bit of swimming. Then we returned to Ty's Grill and had a great meal with drinks. The meals are slightly higher in price than the typical Panamanian restaruant. But not much. The menu has North American pub food and Canadian Poutin. Sooooooo sinfully good tasting! Lol! Ty and Michelle have an adopted Capuchin monkey named Mona. Michelle will make sure that you're comfortable before she lets Mina greet you. (Some people don't want a monkey on their back, I guess. Lol!) If you're in El Valle, you really should stop in and say Hi to Ty, Michelle and Mona!! We really enjoyed it!
