GET A SMOOTHIE
Ok, the smoothie was delicious and huge. It almost spoiled my appetite for my meal and you could easily share one with your partner or friend except it's SO good you won't want to share. Best falafel burger I've ever had. My husband enjoyed the shawarma.

The Zula Inn restaurant is right along the main road about 400 m north of the Crossroads, so don’t follow signs for the accommodations that have the same name and are further north. They have some regular tables and some lower lounge-type seating. We were there for dinner so we chose the regular tables. If you are dining, they start with a complimentary appetizer of pickled vegetables, mainly carrots and cabbage. I really like pickles and my wife doesn’t, but we both enjoyed this intro. The appetizer we ordered was Pita Zataar with Tahini, which was baked (crispy) pita sliced into strips and sprinkled with spices and served with a yoghurt-like dip. The zataar is a leafy herb that is dried and ground into a powder before sprinkling on he pita and the flavor is hard to describe, but agreeable. We liked it enough that we ordered it both times we dined there. For main courses, we had the beef kabob once and the grilled other time. Both were “Israeli Typical”, served with salad, cole slaw, some fries, and hummus with pita. The hummus is also available as an appetizer, but if you order one of the Israeli Typical plates, you might prefer a different appetizer. We didn’t order any dessert, so we can’t comment on them. Overall, the service was very friendly and quick, but maybe a bit too quick. The appetizer came before we finished the pickled veggies, and the main course came before we finished he appetizer. If they had spaced them a bit better, we might have had enough room for dessert, but maybe that’s a good thing.

Very laid back with awesome food and great service. We were a party of 5 and all enjoyed our choices, with the exception of my 11 year old picky eater. Her opinion doesn't count yet.

Very good Israeli food, nice owners and crew. If your on a surfing trip, you need good healthy calories, their menu has great meals that will taste delicious and keep you strong for a couple of sessions.
