Santa Teresa was relatively empty when we visited, and yet this place had a satisfying buzz of people enjoying candlelit sushi. It makes sense that that’s where everyone is.
An extensive menu is presented on a massive chalkboard. I made the ignorant mistake of asking if there was any salmon; this menu serves only local, fresh catch. Snapper and tuna aplenty, and an absolute dream.
The tempura red snapper was divine: crispy on the outside with a flaky soft flesh inside. Sushi was creative - a spicy tuna roll topped with jalapeño was a real treat.
Make an effort to go here if you’re in the area. But maybe check opening times first.
