A dining experience of unforgettable quality, Pranamar's restaurant will most likely linger in your mind long after your vacation ends. Our restaurant, with spectacular views and an exotic, relaxed atmosphere, not only serves delicious food, but also is committed to creating dishes that nourish the body and enliven the senses.Taste some of Costa Rica's local fruits and vegetables, explore creative vegetarian cooking or experience fish and seafood bought from local fishermen of the Peninsula. We offer something for every palate and are more than happy to accommodate special dietary needs or lifestyle choices. Pranamar’s restaurant sources the freshest ingredients for our menu with a strong emphasis on using organic and locally produced products whenever possible. Our food is simple yet enticing. Our belief is that nature knows best. Our Costa Rican chef rejoices in using fruits and vegetables as natural as possible, trying to use the least amount of procedures as possible and taking advantage of their natural qualities. The menu coincides with the North Pacific seasons of Costa Rica in order to maintain the highest standard of food and beverages quality throughout the year. Our style combines Pacific Rim cuisine with Asian and native influences. The casual yet refined dining experience derives from our passion for food, combined with high standards of quality and our friendly service. “Service is Disappointing”
Reviewed February 12, 2013

We went to Buddha Eyes Restaurant for dinner as we had heard such rave reviews about it. Unfortunately, we were disappointed in the service and some of the food. While the waiter was very good and accommodating the waitress didn't seem to be on the same planet as the rest of us. We were a party of seven and she managed to screw up several times throughout the evening - e.g. one of our guests ordered a salad which highlighted the fact that it included olives - there were no olives in the salad and our friend had to point this out at which time she was then given them on the side. The waitress then put the salad dressing on the table, then took it away and gave it to another table so now the salad was minus the olives AND the dressing. Then she screwed up the drink order. Also, another person in our company ordered the Tuna - it was inedible. The waiter was kind enough to take it back and our friend was able to order an alternative meal which turned out to be good. We did observe during our visit that two other tables returned their "Tuna" diinner to the kitchen. Then, to top things off we wanted to order dessert and were told that they ran out of dessert. To add insult to injury, the "kitchen" was able to serve two more tables with dessert AFTER we were told there was none - UNBELIEVABLE! They didn't even have the courtesy to wait until we had left the restaurant. So, while it is a lovely restaurant, we would not recommend it to anyone due to the poor service and what appears to be "partiallity" to certain customers.

“Buddha Eyes”
Reviewed December 20, 2012

My wife and I traveled to Santa Teresa, Costa Rica the last week of November 2012. We had a great dinner both times at Buddha Eyes. The staff were very nice and accommodating during the dinner service. The food was excellent. We enjoyed every single one of our meals there. We will definitely return to this restaurant on our next visit to Santa Teresa.

“Even better on our return trip amazing!”
Reviewed November 29, 2012

We travelled Costa Rica for a month this trip and although we found some very awesome places to eat and met some incredibly friendly people, the staff at Pranamar make you feel like family. They are so outgoing and welcoming that you end up drawn there night after night. We enjoyed the high quality food and the health conscious choices on the menu. The meals we had were excellent, but that isn't what makes Pranamar stand out above all others in the area, it is all the people who are part of the Pranamar family. Oh, and the best mojito's in the world! :)

“Outstanding!”
Reviewed August 22, 2012

We just returned from a one week stay at Pranamar Villas, and Buddha Eyes is the hotel's restaurant. Delicious food, large portions, reasonable prices and friendly service are a powerful combination. Breakfast was included with our room; try the fruit parfait - their homemade granola is like crack, 'cause I couldn't get enough; over the week, we tried everything on the breakfast menu and loved it all. We only had lunch here once ('cause the breakfast was enough to hold us until dinner); the fish tacos were amazing; 2 big tacos which 2 people could easily share and be full. Dinner was equally fabulous; 3-4 appetizers and 4-6 entrees to choose from each night. We worked our way through the drink/smoothie menu each afternoon; my favorite is the Raga Blend with coconut, avocado and banana. I only have one criticism - for guests staying an entire week (7 nights), it would be nice to change up the menu more frequently; we had eaten everything on the menu by the 5th night. If you're near Santa Teresa, Buddha Eyes is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!
