Description: Imagine sitting under beautiful high bamboo ceilings and gazing out over a serene lagoon pool while enjoying delicious, lovingly prepared food …welcome to Pranamar’s restaurant. A dining experience of unforgettable quality, Pranamar's restaurant will most likely linger in your mind long after your vacation ends. Our restaurant, with spectacular views and an exotic, relaxed atmosphere, not only serves delicious food, but also is committed to creating dishes that nourish the body and enliven the senses.Taste some of Costa Rica's local fruits and vegetables, explore creative vegetarian cooking or experience fish and seafood bought from local fishermen of the Peninsula. We offer something for every palate and are more than happy to accommodate special dietary needs or lifestyle choices. Pranamar’s restaurant sources the freshest ingredients for our menu with a strong emphasis on using organic and locally produced products whenever possible. Our food is simple yet enticing. Our belief is that nature knows best. Our Costa Rican chef rejoices in using fruits and vegetables as natural as possible, trying to use the least amount of procedures as possible and taking advantage of their natural qualities. The menu coincides with the North Pacific seasons of Costa Rica in order to maintain the highest standard of food and beverages quality throughout the year. Our style combines Pacific Rim cuisine with Asian and native influences. The casual yet refined dining experience derives from our passion for food, combined with high standards of quality and our friendly service. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served seven days a week and the restaurant is open to the public. Dinner reservations are recommended.

My wife and I stayed at Batik, but frequented Pranamar for dinner and on 3 other occasions for drinks (the mojitos are second to none).
On it's own Pranamar's food is a 10 out of 10, the atmosphere is a very relaxing cross between sophisticated and free spirited. The service is outstanding, a very friendly and helpful crew. Their smiles and gracious attitude made our experience an 11 out of 10.

Well Done!

We went to Pranamar for lunch 3 or 4 times. Nancy does fantastic yoga session at Pranamar at 9 a.m. so after yoga and some beach time this is a great place to have lunch. Healthy salads with options to add chicken or fish, fresh fish tacos, great smoothies. Everything is healthy and delicious. Very nice vibe as well. Service is efficient and with a smile. Only problem is that this place is not in Santa Teresa and the walk on the beach is about 40 minutes or you have to take a car to get there. Price about $20 per head for lunch with smoothies.

We stayed next door to Pranamar and were encouraged to head over there at least once to take in their lunch menu. The restaurant is so cool and laid back, with high thatched-roof ceilings and tons of ceiling fans to cool you off. I had a massive salad full of fresh, delicious goodness and it was exactly what I needed after a week of big eating and drinking. I left there feeling light and healthy!

We only had breakfast at Pranamar. The coffee was very good and strong. All of our meals were excellent and it was very reasonable.
