An incredible location facing the waves of Santa Teresa, very human attention, delicious cuisine and incredible staff, This is my second time in Santa Teresa and it is definitely the best place, don't miss the sunset!

I spent one entire week in the Nantipa at the end of March. The resort is new, directly on the beautiful beach of Santa Teresa, the rooms are comfortable.

The problem comes with the service if the team at the restaurant is professional and welcoming, the reception and concierge services are awful and need improvement. You don't feel welcomed, and most of the time they don't even bother to say Good morning. The reception team and I think the management (we haven't seen anyone during the whole stay) need training and adjustment. Luxury means service and care, and obviously, this is not something, they understand, unfortunately.
Finally, be careful with the surf lessons proposed by the hotel, don't take it, as you will have to pay for a taxi as well. You will find better options in town.
For us, it was a big disappointment.

Dear Ovnidusud,

Thank you very much for taking the time to give us feedback about your stay. I am deeply sorry to read that this is the impression we gave you and that we did not meet on this occasion your expectations. I have adressed the situation about the attitude in front desk and concierge services in order to avoid this happening again. All in all, I am gutted to read that it was a big disappointment and should you decide to visit us again, please feel free to contact myself directly and I will ensure you go through a flawless tico experience.

Kind regards,

Jose M. Fernandez

I’m a frequenter of the area and have been for at least 6 years. Nantipa, having opened their doors only two months ago, dazzled us with their breath-taking setting and services. Our reservations manager, Robert, was very graceful and attentive, meeting all our needs and exceding our expectations of service. Ana, the receptionist, gave us a holistic tour of the hotel before showing us to our room; she was always attentive of all our needs and did her best to meet any requests we had. We are very thankful for their service, as well as all the kind, warm-hearted workers that received us proudly.
As for the hotel itself: the installations are brand new and pristine, made with an exquisite taste for a beachfront location. Every building is fresh and made with a lot of detail. We did not want to leave the hotel for a second, anything we needed could be found there. We stayed in Ninta #5. The room is as spectacular as a beachfront suite could be, with a large bathroom, a shower inside and another one outside. The bedroom was large and the bed was extremely comfortable, we even had trouble wanting to get up. And behind the curtains was an overwhelming view of the ocean not even a hundred yards from the bed, with a magnificent terrace.
Nantipa is a must for any couple who wishes for a vacation with impecable service in a private, luxurious oasis.

A small number of rooms, contemporary and well appointed hotel with a large pool, beautiful view of the beach, ocean and sunset and a nice bar and restaurant beach side. The staff was so nice and waiters at the restaurant took great care of us on our second night after a big storm took out the electricity in all of Santa Teresa. We were able to order from the full menu and ate under candlelight! We were there with our 2 children, age 10 and 12 and experienced a very bad riptide in the ocean to the left of the hotel (facing the ocean). Be VERY careful with your children. All four of us were playing in the ocean very close to the beach when we were unable to swim back to shore. Luckily, another swimmer next to us helped me get my two children to safety and then my wife. It happened fast too...it came on quick and probably only lasted 4 minutes (felt longer) but it was really terrifying. The hotel warned us about the riptide so I do not blame them....the beach to the right of the hotel when you are facing the ocean, just 200 yards away or so, has very nice pools you can lay in and much calmer waves during low tide.

Room tip: The rooms facing the ocean have pools

The developers did a real good job keeping this resort in liking with it's surroundings. The rooms are super comfortable and clean. I really enjoyed the food as they have a top shelf chef that does a really great job. The resort sits right on the beach with direct access. The even offer beach front dining. Looking forward to phase II and Phase III of construction. Highly recommend......
