What a beautiful small hotel, prefer it to all the big ones in the area. Plenty of food places around and vibrat night market (a bit too touristy for my liking) We had a garden/beach facing bungalow with a unique bathroom. Breakfast was small but enough for our needs. To sum it up, would stay there again.

We made a last-minute reservation at this hotel based on reviews we have read here.

Initially, the place is fine when we first checked in nor i feel my expectation is anywhere unreasonable as we only wanted a relaxing beach vacation even though it's not a Ritz or 4 Seasons.

First night we arrived when we checked into our room which is next to the pool on the first floor, we found that there was a wedding banquet / party with a live band playing until 11:30PM, even though we called concierge and was promised they will finish by 11.

Unfortunately, there's no sufficient insulation so we could very much hear the noise even when the patio door and windows were fully closed. The bad luck continues when no later than 8AM a bunch of young children started playing in the pool, accompanied by their helper and of course, screaming on top of their lungs.

If this is a one-day affair, i would have let it go, but the whole charade actually went on for most of our stay (the band at night and the screaming kids in the morning).

This issue alone (which went unaddressed) ruined our experience. Even though the other aspects (location, breakfast, cleanliness) are acceptable, i would definitely not recommend any couple for staying there unless you have some screaming kids on your own.

We came here from London for a friend's wedding and it was definitely worth the trip. The whole hotel is very well designed and the rooms are spacious. Our kids loved the pools, and there is direct beach access.

1st class small hotel with nicely appointed rooms and grounds.Staff could not do more and were always on hand to sort out any problems however small.Food in the restaurants was excellent and for a good hotel very keenly priced.Only one caveat-see travellers tips.

Room Tip: We booked a superior deluxe room but on arrival this was not ready for occupation so were upgraded to a premier garden suite.this was a beautiful spacious room but always required artificial lighting as it was very dark. For those who like a bright, airy, room with natural light I would recommend booking a room on the 2nd or third floors.ON balance IWould definately return to this hotel
