We booked an apartment in Sri Sayang on the edge of Batu Ferringhi, opposite the Shangri La Rasa Hotel, and couldn't believe our luck when we found this place was the restaurant for the block. It is amazing, in fact so good that we ate there 5 out of our 8 evenings, which is very unusual for us. The green mango salad is to die for, and I keep looking for it on other menus, but with no luck. We worked our way through the menu, enjoying every dish, whether Thai, Malaysian or western. The chef had trained for a year with a French Chef, and also spent time in Singapore, and had a real feel for everything he cooked. Presentation very attractive. Favourite dish - sous vide chicken with linguini and green curry sauce- fantastic. The prices were among the cheapest we found,as was the wine. Don't miss it! Cost about £6 to £12 a head for 2-3 courses without wine.
