Everything about this hotel is excellent. My friend and I stayed for three nights and our room was huge. Superbly clean. The staff were friendly and efficient. Free parking for those with cars.
No complaints really about the hotel. Would definitely come again in the near future. Recommended!

We stayed here as a family of 4 and really enjoyed our time. Hotel staff were always friendly and polite. Kids loved the kids club and also being close to the beach and having a great pool was also a highlight. Pool is well staffed with a lifesaver was around all the time which was good to see. Food here also a highlight but location is also a bonus for food as right on the doorstep to the hawker food just down the road. Breakfast was great for variety and staff did an excellent job. Night market also right outside and we spent a few nights haggling for a bargain. We found all to be done in good spirits. The hotel also runs a shuttle to the bigger shopping centres each day which was handy. All in all a great place to stay and good value as well.

Room Tip: Ferringhi tower across the road and as high as you can get it for the views.

We stayed for 5 days during the New Year holidays. The hotel consists of 2 blocks, the Tower Wing and the Beach Wing. We went to the Tower Wing and were told that our rooms were in the Beach Wing and they can’t check us in there. We had to cross the main road to get to the Beach Wing. So, it will be good to find out beforehand which wing your room is in. Also, if you are driving, there is very limited parking on the Beach Wing. You would have to park at the Tower Wing and walk across (either using the bridge or cross the road).

We arrived at the hotel at about 3:30 pm and were told that the room was not ready. We were given welcome drinks and we had to check twice more before our room was finally ready at about 5 pm. We had booked a family room for the 4 of us. Our room was a ‘hill view’ room and facing the main road. The double-glazed windows did nothing to reduce the sound of traffic. However, the room was big and the beds were comfortable (though I felt it was smaller than the standard queen size). The deco is slightly dated and some wear and tear in the furnishing is obvious. Nevertheless, it was clean and housekeeping did a good job during our stay. However, though were 4 of us in the room and they kept giving us only 2 towels. We had to call them every day for extra towels. If they clear 4 towels from the room, shouldn’t they replace it with 4 new towels? There is free Wi-Fi, but the signal is very weak and keeps dropping off in the room.

We had breakfast once in the hotel. Nothing great, just the usual mix of local and western dishes. The hotel sets up a hamburger stand in the afternoon by the poolside where they grill the burgers on the spot. We thought it was good value for RM10. But we were glad that we had rented a car and could venture outside of the Batu Ferringhi area for meals.

The beach had lots of activities like jet ski, parasailing, etc. Not very suitable for swimming. The hotel has 2 huts by the pool offering massage, manicure/pedicure and other services. The hotel grounds were big with deck chairs all around, that was good. However, some of the deck chairs were in disrepair and needed to be replaced.

The hotel had a New Year dinner for hotel guest that cost more than RM300 per person after taxes on Dec 31. Good that they did not make it compulsory for all guests as some hotels do. There was even a firework display by the beach at midnight to welcome the new year. It was a wonderful way to end the year and welcome the New Year.

Room Tip: Avoid the hill view rooms on the Tower Wing if you are a light sleeper.

As far as I'm concerned the location was good, otherwise, as all hotels of this standard, the rates were really overrated, the good thing was kids below 17 stay for free with existing bedding and kids below 12 eat for free as long as there is a paying adult (2 kids for each adult). Furniture at the beach wing were quite old and rooms also seem to be smaller than the tower wing - makes me think whether worth the money paid! Oh, and the beds seriously need to be replaced, all of us ended up with bad backaches!

Good stay primarily due to location.

Room Tip: For views, choose the beach wing, if not so particular, the tower wing is definitely a better bet with its newer furniture and bigger rooms
