“Nice fresh food selection”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 6, 2014 via mobile

Was happy to stumble upon this place as was seriously craving some fresh fruit and a juice. Other than sugar being added into the juice (you have to let them know that you want no sugar) it was a good experience and good value. The man said that they opened at 10am for breakfast so we went the next day after 10 and they were closed. A lady came out and said they were opening at 1pm which was confusing as the opening hours said from 10am-1pm. Other than that this place is worth a look when they are open!

“Awesome juice and breakfast.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 6, 2014

Stopped here 3 mornings in a row to grab breakfast and a juice. They were really kind and efficient. The food was good and the juices were excellent. They have a big variety of fruits and veggies to juice, so if you want it- they probably have it! you can also grab a single-potion of any of the fruit ti take with you for the beach or whatever you're doing that day!

“Great juices”

Great fresh juices and good meals. This is a great lunch spot to avoid the heat.
We had lunch here twice while staying in Penang and very much enjoyed the large selection of juices and food.

“Much better than Long Beach”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 13, 2014

Now trading at street level as "POWER UP". We found this lovely simple café on the first day. We weren't disappointed with any of the food. Next day tried stalls at Long Beach, where the food was cheap and nasty. Power Up's dishes were about 2 ringits more than Long Beach but worth the extra. Definitely go for the Asian style food and you won't be disappointed. Could not fault any of the twenty or so meals we ordered.

The fruit stall at the front does a brisk trade. All freshly peeled and cut up in little plastic bags with a skewer to eat it with. All the fruit is sitting on a bed of ice, so it is kept chilled. There would have to be about 20 varieties of fruit available. So many to choose from. Prices vary depending on fruit chosen. We bought mango (5 ringits), watermelon and pineapple (2 ringits). Freshly made juices on request, with or without sugar, and with or without ice. Also whole unpeeled fruit available, sold by weight.

Banana fritters and ice-cream was a lovely dessert had one evening.

Service is friendly and prompt. Everything done with a big smile. Lady in charge constantly attending to all aspects of the food and service. Table attendants constantly checking that everything is okay.

Tasty food and great service for the price. Highly recommended!
