“Take a Chance!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 1, 2014

We've been celebrating our honeymoon in Penang for the last 4 days and still here for another 4. We discovered this little spot almost opposite the Bayview hotel.
Amazing indian food! the butter chicken and naan is as good as we've ever eaten anywhere. The Staff are welcoming, friendly and always up for a bit of a laugh.
We would highly recommend giving Enca a go!

“Terrific Indian Food”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 27, 2014 via mobile

We only discovered Enca towards the end of our holiday which was a real shame as we would have eaten there more than once. We only tried the Indian food but everything we ordered was really delicious. As others have commented, the nann bread (garlic and cheese in our case) was outstandingly good. Basic surroundings but very clean with friendly staff and terrific value for money. We chatted to a couple of fellow diners who had eaten there 3 nights in a row and were tucking into dishes not even on the menu which they had specially asked for.

A brilliant choice for anyone seeking great Indian food in Batu Ferringhi.

“Nice food/Nice people”

Opposite Hard Rock Hotel which was really handy as the food was heaps nicer and cheaper than the Hard Rock, he was a really nice guy who even came and opened up the restaurant before his usual time

“great food, friendly staff”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 22, 2014

We ate here numerous times during our stay in Batu ferringhi. Why because the food was really tasty, good quality and well priced. They cater for western tastes as well as indian, we had a number of different dishes and all i must say were the best we had on our holiday. The place itself looks like a standard local restaurant but wow the food is good, beer cold and the service very friendly. Try the Tuna pizza, its so good. We did eat at a few other places but left disappointed but the Enca alwas delivered cheap tasty simple meals, perfect for a relaxing holiday. Thanks guys, we will return.

“Not bad”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 1, 2014 via mobile

We ate here as it is across from where we were staying. Personally I would say the food is okay but not the best place around. We had curry, rice and char koay teow (excuse my spelling). While it was very cheap, the curry wasn't anything fabulous, the koay teow was average. The nicest part was the naan - which was awesome. We returned twice just to get naan. As I said above the food was okay and it's in a good location, with good prices. However when comparing to everyone's reviews - I expected more.
