“A value for money buffet lunch...”
Reviewed June 24, 2013

Had this buffet LUNCH last Sunday and I would say, it's value for money. With less than RM100 per person (including taxes), they are serving lobster and large head shrimps. I would say this is more than what you paid for. Taste wise, it's just another same hotel restaurant. Nothing much differ to other hotels. Nothing much authentic about hotel's food taste.

“Seafood buffet dinner was awesome”
Reviewed June 23, 2013

The entire family still remembers it. Both quality and variety was just great. Price was a bit high being compared with local places, but well worth it.

“Lovely cafe.”
Reviewed May 29, 2013

Most of our holiday the Tamarind was relatively quiet for breakfast which was a lovely time, fresh food, nicely presented, staff attentive, remembering which hot drink you had, and even how you wanted your eggs cooked! The last weekend it was school holidays and a public holiday, the café was packed, along with two other areas, the staff were extremely busy but still managed to keep the tables clean, the guests seated, and a smile on their faces - what more could you ask for??

“Lovely food but a bit lacking in ambience”
Reviewed April 17, 2013

This is one of the restaurants in the Park Royal Resort and was not at all busy the night we ate there, despite the obviously good food and beautiful surroundings.

The menu is extensive with Western and Asian dishes and my wife's request for breast of roast chicken off the bone in her Chicken Rice dish was gladly accommodated. I had the Nasi Goreng and it was delicious.

Despite the restaurant being so empty, the service wasn't brilliant - I was brought the wrong size beer at first (too small) but was too hot to refuse it ;-)

As our first meal in Malaysia, we enjoyed it very much.

“Great setting”
Reviewed February 15, 2013

We had a romantic dinner here. The garden and hotel are really beautiful. The service was good and friendly, the food great, wine was really bad! They have to do something about that!! There is a special looking bar for after dinner drinks as well and the garden is special to walk through after dinner, recommended!!
