“Great setting”
Reviewed February 15, 2013

We had a romantic dinner here. The garden and hotel are really beautiful. The service was good and friendly, the food great, wine was really bad! They have to do something about that!! There is a special looking bar for after dinner drinks as well and the garden is special to walk through after dinner, recommended!!

“Great Service Great Food”
Reviewed January 30, 2013

Visited for daily buffet breakfast which was varied and catered for all tastes - Western/European / Asian / Indian / Arab..

Lunch was sensational and complimentary bread rolls and cold water. The food is as good as you would get in Batu Ferenghi.

We also had the Seafood Buffet on a Saturday night. This was great value, and don't be too fussed by the theme. They cater for all tastes once more, so I am more of a red meat and chicken person and had no problem finding this. Also the desert is worth the price.

Great Service .... Great Food. What else could you ask for?

“Seafood buffet - just another average buffet. Don't bother.”
Reviewed November 17, 2012 via mobile

Fantastic selection of seafood, unfortunately it was all lukewarm and therefore decidedly average. The lamb was all cheap cuts, very fatty and overcooked. The highlight was the steak, which was cooked for you. Beautiful fillet, shame about the 1cm thick pieces! But you could have as many slices as you wanted. Delicious. Shame that the seafood wasn't the highlight!

Thank goodness for a decent dessert selection, so I didn't feel completely ripped off.

Regret this when there are so many other great (and cheap) options. It's a typical buffet.

“Ok food let down very poor service”
Reviewed November 10, 2012

We had breakfast here whilst staying at the hotel, the first few days the food was ok. However the service is very poor, The lady on the front counter was really struggling to get people to their tables and was sending parents with babies and senior citizens up a few flights of stairs to the second floor because she said their was no room on the bottom floor, even though there was! My wife was clearly limping and I refused to go upstairs and I claimed a table downstairs. This place has some of the worst service I have ever witnessed.

I ended up making my own tea and coffee, it was quicker and easier.
Only eat here if you have to, very expensive otherwise

“Great seafood buffet”
Reviewed October 3, 2012

We had the Saturday Seafood Buffet here after reading good reviews and wasn't disappointed. Although it is expensive by Penang standards, it was cheap compared to Australia and much better. The food was amazing and even included lobster. Well worth the money in our opinion. The service and ambience was great too.
