Discovered this little gem by accident, but what fantastic food. Small, friendly with excellent service, and food which is freshly cooked and absolutely delicious. Sizzlers sizzle better than I have heard elsewhere. Excellent prices too. Would recommend to all.

Lovely place great food giving excellent value for money...The lady that runs the place is really welcoming and friendly and has some of her beautiful art work on display ... well worth a visit. ..

2 curries both off the specials board. The prawn curry was mostly prawn heads. I had a very dry and re heated pork chop under the description of Bar b qued Ribs. There was easily more bone than anyhing I could eat, coated in a dark sticky sugary goo, accompanied by packet frozen chips.
Kids had salt and pepper squid. Again deep frozen packet rubbish, all the same size and shape and 5 pieces each! Disgraceful. The priced were very high for such runbbish, the service dis interested. Avoid!
Better food? Andrews Kampung restaurant opposite Golden Sands on second floor above CIMB bank. 27 RM all you can eat, FRESH cooked.

We ate breakfast here twice while staying in Batu Ferringhi recently. We had the usual bacon and eggs with toast, jam and butter. We didn't think much of the quality of the meal and presentation was distinctly lacking (pretty much two eggs and a piece of bacon slapped on the plate, garnished with toast) but we were won over by the awesome atmosphere of the place and the friendliness of the owner and his wife who seem super-chilled and interesting. Based on previous reviews, perhaps we should have had dinner here instead!

We had read about Living Room in the Lonely Planet guide and it didn't let us down. The lady who owns the bar/restaurant is lovely and welcoming. We ate here four times. It has a really nice feel to the place. Food is excellent and so cheap. Would definitely recommend it!
