Very good for family and kids. The room big too, the view was very beautiful and the location is good and you can walk at night and you have all services around the hotel, monkey and many good places are close to the hotel.

Plus points was the pool and the infotainment. Minus point was the service and smell. The service is bad because everytime I call the house keeping for laundry bags, they keep giving half of what I need. There is also odour issue in the rooms and corridor of the rooms.

I am sorry to read that our Housekeeping staff did not perform at their best during your stay. This feedback has been shared with the Housekeeping Manager and her team to improve on immediately.

We're glad to read that you had such an amazing stay with us.
Yes, the Hard Rock Hotel Penang is indeed a great place to bring your family. The facilities and amenities we provide are largely catered to families with children and there's nothing that brings us more joy than to know that the little rockstars are having a great time.
The hotel's location is at the quiet end of the Batu Ferringhi strip, nicely tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the night markets. We offer the courtesy shuttle down to the markets each night, but there is also the hop on hop off and rapid bus services which run to Georgetown. Hope you were able to make use of these services.
Do come back some time soon for more!

I first stayed at the HRC Hotel when it first opened 10 years ago and was wowed by my first stay at a HRC Hotel. It was a short stay and there were no kids so we never really enjoyed the full facilities. Fast forward to 10 years later and having had two trips with the kids this year alone - it has been a real hit with the kids - 2,3 & 7! The pool is so nice you do not really need to go out to the beach which by Penang standards actually isn't that bad. Service has been great and staff friendly. The only thing I would want to gripe about is that maybe it is time to renovate the rooms and bathrooms which to give them credit is still ok for a 10 year old property but there are some niggly bits that could be upgraded. And the other may be the parking availability if you happen to be driving here - always the guards managed to find us a bay but it was particularly annoying to have to drive around for a bay.

It was a pleasure to have you back with us again and thank you for your loyalty through the years and we're happy to hear that your kids had such fun yet again.
Thanks for your feedback on the bits that need upgrading, rest assured we're on it! Hard Rock Hotel Penang went through a full room renovation in 2016 as well as upgrades to the Lobby and Pizzeria. The hotel is constantly being maintained and improved to ensure the Hard Rock Brand standards are being complied with.
We do intend to do some bathroom renovations in the future and will do our best to maximise the space a bit more.
I am sorry to read that you were disappointed with the parking experience at the hotel. The hotel has a large car park on its grounds, but on very busy days this can become full and we operate an overflow carpark about 500m from the hotel. We operate a courtesy shuttle between the hotel and this carpark for guest convenience.
We trust that all else was well with your stay and we hope to see you again soon for more rockin' fun with the family!

Everything seems good but when you are out at the pool especially the slide area you have to look after your own kid.
An accident happen to my son due to the staff who is looking after the pool is not attentive. When the other boy slide down from the pool and hit my son’s head. Lucky nothing serious happen. However, all this can be avoided by a whistle.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention.
Your feedback has been shared with the Recreation Manager, and she is now retraining the staff in the issues you raised, to ensure better and more consistent service to our guests in the future. We always have three lifeguards on duty throughout the opening hours of the swimming pool, and covering all the various areas of the pool. The Recreation Manager has reminded the lifeguards to be more alert especially at the kids play area.
We're sorry about this and will improve on this immediately.

thank you for the complimentary cake for may honeymoon trip.. all staff are very helpful and cheerful.
a lot of movie and tv channel. however only Wifi need to improve since the connection was very week. thank you.
