“Superb attraction for fruit lovers! Amazingly delicious fruit.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 8, 2013

This is a MUST do attraction for anybody who likes/loves fruit. The entrance fee is 35RM and for this you get a 1 hour tour (search for the guide with an English/Australian/American accent, about 1.60, little bit grey hair and a grey/black moustache and beard). You will get a lot of interesting facts about different fruit kinds and after that you will be treated with a buffet with 18 different fruits! You can eat as much as you want and you will get one fresh fruit drink for free!

Definitely a MUST do when you are visiting Penang! 1-2 hours of visiting time.

“Informative tour with samples conclusion”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 12, 2012

When you arrive and pay about $10 AUD per person you wait in the shop before you board a white van to be driven to the orchard area. We spoke with one of the staff about some of the things they grow and he was keen to tell us about the many different types of bananas and also to talk about the durian. Our guide at the orchard itself was also very informative and we did see some fruit that we hadn't seen before. Even figs grow differently to how they grew in my grandmas garden. They seem to be on long stems not close to the branch itself. The samples were interesting and they mixed "fruit smoothies" drinks of your choice to try along with a plate to select and try different things. Good fun and we got to met people from other partsof the worldto chat with. Worth the money and the trip aroundthe island is fantastic.

“Great visit”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 29, 2012

This is an excellent visit, really informative without being boring. And at the end you get to taste the produce which are lovely. But take a parasol or whear a hat as it can be very hot as you walk around the site.

“Worth the trip”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 16, 2012

Lovely gardens which offered some cool relief from the hot Pinang sun. Would have loved to do a cooking class but not enough time. The cafe has a lovely outlook over the beach.
