It is an interesting place. You will be transferred by bus to the farm and there will be someone will guide you there and will explain everything about the tropical fruits. At the end of the tour you will have a fruit to eat as well a class of fresh juice.

Great visit to the Fruit Farm, you get a tour round the farm with a very informative guide and end up trying out the various fruits grown. Only slight disappointment was we wanted to try the famous durian fruit, however this was not offered as part of the tasting session at the end of the tour, although it was in season. Don't let this put you of though, still great day out. Try the mangostein and the rambutan, delicious!

Lets be honest, I love fruit so I also liked the place very much. We had a super funny guide with cute English and he took us around the park and gave notes on different kinds of fruit. It was about six of us in the group. A lot of species were out of season (mid February)but a lot of them grow fruit all year through. The buffee at the end of a tour was very good and food was super fresh. Try the little cute bananas we dont have in Europe or pineapple which taste a lot differently here (better). Overall I find it a little overpriced for what you get (the tour takes maybe 30mins) but as a fruit lover for me the money was worth it. Perhaps the price is a little higher because its Penang.

We hired a driver in Batu Ferringhi, and took the 30 minute drive to the fruit farm, which is located 800 ft above sea level.

We bought tickets at the shop, and prices were higher that presented on their website. We got lift the short distance to the farm, and met the rest of our group. Our guide was very clever, and showed us different fruits and how they can be used for different purposes.

Unfortunately, a lot of the Arab members of our group showed no interest at all, and started rushing our guide! We were there to learn and experience, and let him share his knowledge with us.

In the end, we found eat 15 different kinds of fruit and one juice each. We loved the acerola, so full of C-vitamins!
