Piccol Tesero was one of a handful of eating places open last night (somewhat strange for this busy time of the year).
Food: no written menu, but Michelle explained the choices, which was fine. The flat bread with toppings which I ate was absolutely delicious, and my hubby had pasta which was quite tasty. We are vegetarians, and were catered for.
Alcohol/drinks: limited wine and drinks menu, but the wine prices were excellent.
Dessert: I had ice cream and Choc sauce, which was okay, but also reluctantly tasted a piece of the "chocolate salami", turned out to be awesome, highly recommended with some coffee. Look forward to authentic Italian desserts in future.
Ambience: we sat outside, was a bit windy but survived. Great music and ambience. There was one inside table available, but that seemed rather lonely!
Service: excellent. Was served by the owner Michelle, as well as by Anlie.
Cost: excellent, although it would be good to know this in advance!
They had just installed a pizza oven yesterday, so expect more choices in future.
Suggestions: would be nice to have a printed menu with prices, or a board displaying options at the entrance. Major dislike for me is the cash only payment, which was fine yesterday cos we happened to carry cash on us. Not usually the case.
Will definitely return there on a future visit!
