“Magnificent!”
Reviewed October 9, 2012

It was so good we went back the second night and I ordered the same dish again! Pork fillet in sauce...

What a treat! Excellent service! Friendly and that dry Afrikaans humour I love!

“Quirky restaurant”
Reviewed September 27, 2012

My husband and I loved our evening at this restaurant. Their food is really very good. The descriptions on the menu don't do it justice. I had a lamb pie and my husband had a mustard pork fillet. Both were served with lots of delicious vegetables. Pork fillet can be dry. This certainly wasn't. It was succulent. Warm welcome and as we were wet, we were installed next to the stove!

“Great place for lunch”
Reviewed September 23, 2012

I recently celebrated a birthday at the Mystic Tin with some of my family and we had a fantastic lunch. We had the place to ourselves, sitting outside in their lovely gardens, and the service was excellent. Our host and waiter Terence was very hospitable. Several of our group opted for one of their signature dishes, the Timbuktu chicken salad, and absolutely loved it! The bobotie was also a big hit, so compliments to the chef. The micro brewery was one of the reasons we wanted to try the Mystic Tin, and the honey brew went down very well with us all. We would definitely come here again. Nice setup, relaxed atmosphere, and very good value for money.

“Great food”
Reviewed September 22, 2012

My husband wanted to try springbok so we gave this restaurant a try. He wasn't disappointed. The staff member kept apologising for how long we had to wait to be served but they had a rather large booking in that night and we had been told about that before we arrived so it was no problem. It was worth the wait!
