We had the pleasure of spending three wonderful nights here this week. The house is spectacular and historic and has been designed with such attention to detail and flair. The breakfasts you are served are just divine, with much of produce being home grown or harvested. The owners and hosts are so warm and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Thank you both for such a personal and special stay on your beautiful farm. We loved every minute and would recommend to anyone.

Stunning property in a very calm and relaxed environment. What made it all the more special was the amazing hosts. Nothing was too much and the standard of service and finishing touches in the room made our stay extra special.

Delightful luxury accommodation in this historic Cape farmhouse, beautifully furnished and well equipped. Loved the spacious private terrace and pool, with fabulous views across the farm to the mountains. Breakfast was glorious, beautifully presented using organic produce mainly from the farm.Alain and Kai were the perfect hosts, friendly and helpful including great suggestions for local restaurants. Klein Nektar is in the centre of this small pretty town, with everything within a few minutes walk. It was the perfect base for us to spend a leisurely few days touring the surrounding area at this end of Route 62, where there is so much to see.

Stunning property with perfect hosts!
Our huge mistake was to book for one night only. This is the most perfect, beautiful house set amongst vines and pecan trees. The pool was immaculately clean and the outside space to die for! We spent our short stay admiring the antic furniture, artefacts and wonderful decor and even tried our hand at the original bar billiards table. Our hosts welcomed us with a fabulous red Muscat and plenty of ice for our G & T's! Together they farm their 7 hectare plot growing organic fruit, vegetable and grapes with friendly free range hens wandering the fabulous property.
As if we hadn't had a pleasure over load...the breakfast was divine!!!! Home made bread, pastries, jams, eggs from the hens and sweet grapes from the vines!
Don't make our mistake...stay as long as you can, I promise you will thank me for it!!! Pure heaven. We'll be back,!!!!

We had the pleasure of passing through Montagu and staying at Klein Nektar. The property is an absolute gem in the main road of Montagu. Once you pass through the front gate an amazing subsistence organic farm and warm hospitality awaits you.

Kai and Alan are wonderful hosts and produce organically grown grapes, olives vegetables and an array of different fruits. Walk around the farm and ask them about what they do and you, like I, will leave with a new respect for not only organically grown produce but also a new appreciation for the food we eat.

The evening we arrived Kai recommended a local restaurant, 22 On Church, which was awesome and well worth a visit.

The breakfast was amazing - beyond description!! Kai laid out a spread of food that she produces on the farm. The home made yogurt is simply the best in South Africa and no shop bought yogurt will ever match it. The home made grape juice was also exceptional. The gluten free bread baked specially for my wife was also amazing! The homemade jams delicious! Quite a feast!

The accommodation is comfortable and luxurious. The space is beautifully decorated with a contemporary yet olde worlde feel. The attention to detail is impeccable. There are 2 bedrooms on suite and 2 lounges and space aplenty. There is a pool with stunning views of the mountain in the background - a welcoming addition as the temperatures were in the upper thirties on the day we arrived.

Thank you Kai and Alan for a most informative and enjoyable stay, and your warm hospitality. We pray you will be blessed with success on your beautiful organic farm.
