We stayed here for one night on our honeymoon. The owners really went out of their way to welcome us, and mark our honeymoon.
Right in the centre of town. Close to local restaurants and bars. The town was quiet in October, with not a huge amount of activities. But it is on the road to a great drive from Hermanus and on to Oudsthoorn.
Stunning. Attic room with air con. When we arrived, complimentary champagne was chilling in the room, and the tray was covered in rose petals. The owners had left a note to wish us well on our honeymoon and our life together. The bathroom has an old style stand alone bath. We had our own private balcony which was a real sun trap. All in all, a great room, especially for a honeymoon. Tea and coffee facilities were available in the room, and milk was in the fridge.
The owners offered us breakfast at a time of our choosing. We had it in a room facing their beautiful garden. It was a really luxurious breakfast. Loads of cereal, cooked food, fresh fruit, fresh flower petals on the plate etc.
As you can guess from the above, the staff could not have been nicer. They made us feel really welcome, gave us loads of useful information on the area, and had a fantastic sense of service.
Really, really recommend this guesthouse.
