The Playa Delphin is located at the end of the recently modernised promenade (which now has no car traffic). The apartments are nice, traditionally styled, with spacious terraces overlooking the promenade, beach and sea. My apartment 206 had a living room with kitchenette (well equipped will all sorts of dishes, however not with a dishwasher), a small bathroom and a bedroom with two rather simple single beds. The apartment was clean and towels are replaced every second day. There is however no cleaning during the stay.
The reception is only attended a few hours per day and both the receptionist and the managers have the attitude that if something is broken it is definitely not their task to fix it. I asked in advance whether there is Wi-Fi in the rooms, and it was confirmed. They try to rip off some extra money by selling codes which you have to enter whenever you want to access the internet. But the server which manages those codes breaks down every other day, which means that there is no internet access until the receptionist will return to restart the server. The manager told me "You have rented an apartment, not a hotel. You cannot expect that things work 24 hours." The receptionist said "This is an island. Things are different here." When I arrived some guests complained that the TV did not work. I was told that I should not expect it to work, because there was a storm the week before and nobody had fixed the satellite dish yet.
There are a few other alternatives, which are also at the beachfront and seem to have similar standard and price. Their service cannot be worse. I would recommend trying those places. However, they only have a few apartments per building and if they are sold out you might want to book the Playa Delphin. You should be satisfied with the apartments and views, as long as you don't expect that everything works.
Good Wi-Fi is available in several places at the promenade, in particular the Las Palmeras bar and the La Nao restaurant.
Corrections: the name is "Playa Delphin" (with ph, without "hotel") and the address is Calle de José Guzman Pérez Y Pérez, 1, 38769 Puerto de Naos.
