Stayed here on the Saturday night in a family unit on the Easter long weekend. Couldn't pick up internet, only outside. Said WIFI was free but wouldn't connect. Very dated dark rooms but was clean. Bed sheets smelt old and the pillows were really hard. Room was cheap for the amount of people staying so didn't really expect much. Friendly staff and close to Otorohange so that was good but would not stay again.

Room Tip: Request a room close to the reception office for internet however had another party with us who had...

Stayed here for one night with my husband and two young children (3 yrs and 1 yr). We booked a 2 bedroom unit and it was perfect for our needs. The motel is nice and clean and comfortable, as well as great value.
The motel was easy to find and was well equipped for preparing meals there. The beds were super comfy and a portacot was provided for our youngest. Whilst we could hear some of the heavy traffic on the road it was not particularly loud or annoying.
We really enjoyed our stay and I would definitely recommend this motel for families.

Clean & comfortable (albeit a little dated) quiet location as we had the last unit at the back. Has a small swimming pool and hot tub at the back (although we did not use these) as well as a small childrens play area. Good location to base yourselves if visiting the Waitomo caves as only a short drive away.

My family and i stayed in this accommodation for one night whilst doing a tour of New Zealand. We were given a friendly greeting and bybour hosts who also suggested some wonderful things for us to see whilst we were in town. The accommodation was both spacious and comfortable, we also found the accommodation to be good value. I would recommend this accommodation to anybody who is travelling in a group or family situation. Unfortunetly we didn't use the pool but it was there if we had wanted to.

Room Tip: We stayed on the opposite side of the road to the office after being offerred rooms on both sides of...

Although getting a bit old this place was clean and comfortable. It's not as close to the caves as we would have liked but it was easy to find and had full kitchen facilities. The owner was very helpful with local information and gave us a cheery welcome

Value for money accommodation. Dated 2 bedroom unit but comfortable, with room to spread out for our family of 5. Clean and tidy, with expected towels for each guest. Pool was fantastic in providing much needed relief for Mum and the kids due to the scorching temperature of the day. Dad disappointed that the spa pool was out of order. Motel staff quick to respond to query regarding laundry requirements, and provided guided tour of laundry facility - washing machine and powder provided at no charge to guests (Wow), but $2 if dryer to be used. Plenty of washing lines to hang washing with pegs provided. Nice that motel provided fly spray for guests use. We enjoyed our stay.
