My husband and myself stayed at these apartments. We were very impressed with the standard and fitout of our two bedroom apartment. Everything you could possiblly want was included - even a remote control garage. The complex had it's own swimming pool and guests were welcome to dine at the Legends Grill or self cater with lovely Hunter Valley goodies bought when we visited the wineries.
A wonderful and relaxing stay - we would certainly stay there again!

If only we knew before this hidden paradise....we would have stayed longer then only one night!!
We arrived at the Grand Mecure Appartment: The Vintage Hunter Valley and miss a turn to our destination...only to find wild kangaroos jumping around on the Vintage domain...wow! We made our reservations on the same day we arrived and we were personaly greated by the really nice receptionnist! (She helped us fine a cute spot for wine tasting the next morning....great service!)
We stayed in the appartment 122 located on the 1st floor ...spacious....clean... simply beautifull! You wont be dissapointed!! King size bed, 2 HD TV's, 3 phones, Big BBQ, Dishwasher...etc...etc.

Everything about this place is fabulous. The location, birdlife, dining experience to the excellent golf course. The apartments adjoining are as comfortable as one would ever get. Thoroughly recommend though probably more suited to adults. We will be back to do it all again.

This is a lovely hotel. Most of the rooms overlook the outdoor pool and are nicely furnished with good en-suite facilities. The hotel is on two storeys, the upper deck is probably the best from a view and privacy angle. It is right in the centre of the vineyards, with McGuigans next door and the Hunter Valley Gardens on the otherside. A great location for visiting the area.

The worst customer service I have ever received - without a shadow of a doubt. I made an error when booking online and the hotel completely refused to help in any way, shape or form. Their total inability and unwillingness to help ruined what should have been a once in a lifetime holiday. The worst part about it is that it would have been absolutely no skin of their noses to help - they just refused to. Awful.

we stayed in a 2 bedroom room and it was great. nice and big, king beds were very comfortable and so were the large pillows. very large showers with large shower head. deep bath as well. nice areas to sit immediately outside our room. love having pay per view movies- there was a good range of these. had every size and type of glass you could possibly want- good kitchen facilities too. only improvement to the room i can think of is an ipod dock- and thats not a criticism just a suggestion for improvement. no complaints at all about the room. only complaints about the stay were minor and to do with staff/ human error. our room was not ready at check in time (however it was after a long weekend and we were upgraded). the fridge was not turned on when we arrived and it was difficult to find where to turn it on (the switch was under the toaster). this was a little inconvenient as we had things we wanted in the fridge immediately. also, reception is only staffed until 5.30pm. after returning from dinner we found that our room key did not work and there is no phone near reception with which to contact somone. luckily we were located on the ground floor and so jumped over a little ledge to find that housekeeping had left one of the doors unlocked and we got in that way. (lucky it was us that found it open and not a burgular!) those things would have been quite annoying had i not been so impressed with the room. we used room service and it was quick and quite yummy- although you couldnt charge it to the room. also note that if you plan to use one of the shuttle services to go out for dinner it is ESSENTIAL to book ahead. although this accommodation is located right next to a golf course we didnt play once!
