By far, the BEST restaurant in the hunter! Unpretentious, honest, authentic italian food. The owner socialises with all his guests and even breaks out into random song - and wow, what a lovely voice he has! We were so glad to have been recommended this restaurant - the pasta is home made by his wife and coupled with the St Clements classic red wine - the meal was just awesome. We also ordered the veal scalloppine and it was just sooo tender! I absolutely cannot recommend this place enough... Just AMAZING!

Enjoyed our first meal so much we went back another night. Luigi, the host, was most gracious and amusing. Really loved the dogs, Bastien is like a big woolly bear. Relaxing and good food.

Fantastic! We went for dinner on Mother's Day. We have been before, a few times in fact. We're locals and spoilt for choice in this region. We choose Lillino's over and over again. Authentic Sardinian food. No fuss, no muss, just good honest Italian food! We must have the pizza sarda every time we go, we do order other things, but always that and even if its just as a takeaway.

Have the St Clements Shiraz 2005, pretty much with anything you order.

Service is always great, we always feel so at home there. The dining room is cozy, the outlook is beautiful!

Must love dogs! There are a few Italian shepherds that keep an eye on the place, they may make a bit of fuss and come out to greet you when you pull in, or they may be more of a door mat in the bar :-) but they're beautiful and friendly and add a very homey feel!

If you're after great Italian, this is where you go!

Best of the hunter. A scrumptious menu and amazing atmosphere. Visited as part of a group of 8 on a Trip to the Hunter Valley and this place has to be one of the Hunters finest.

Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and the personable hospitality by the owner made the night memorable. Quite reasonably priced for the amazing food. Our entire party left completely satisfied with our dining experience.

Look forward to visiting again next time I'm in the region.

After a long day of sipping wine in "the Hunter" my boyfriend and I were starving and decided to forgo our fancy dinner reservations and go someplace closer and down home. To our surprise there was just the place RIGHT up the street from where we were staying-Tonic Hotel. One of the owners of the hotel recommended Lillino's based on my desire for pizza. AND WOW-what a nice surprise! We couldn't believe how good the pizza and eggplant parmesan was! The cook was behind the counter speaking Italian and we knew we were at the right place. The restaurant is located on this hill that looks down on the olive trees you drive by on your way in. What a great spot!
