It's no surprise this is ranked the B&B of Fernando de Noronha on many travel websites. This is as close to perfect as you can get. From the warm welcome with hand painted mugs with our names, to the delicious breakfast with local fruit juices and tapioca made to order, to the excellent tips and advices about getting around and what to do in the island, there was nothing left to chance. Everything was carefully planned to make our stay the best of our lives.
There is nothing to dislike there. The B&B is located more or less on the center of the island, so it is not exactly beach front (BTW, there is no such thing in Fernando de Noronha in order to preserve nature), but you will most likely want to go to most of the island beaches, so it is somewhat close to all of them. If you stay very close to a beach you will have to cross the entire island to go another one.

Room Tip: Only four rooms, and AFAIK they are all the same: small, well planned, clean, and cozy. They have more HD satellite channels than I have at my own home!

After a long search and having read many reviews we came to the conclusion that the family-owned Pousada Naiepe would be our choice for our vacation in Fernando de Noronha. And we did not regret one second. From the very start our experience was extremely pleasant. The owner replied to our questions right away as opposed to some competing establishments that did not even have the room rates yet defined and did not ever get back to us.

A transfer service was waiting for us at the airport (included in the price). Once at the guesthouse, we were welcomed by the the owner Edilene who helped us with tours, car rental and restaurants throughout our 5-day stay on the island and made us feel really welcome. When Edilene is not there, it is her husband who takes care of the guesthouse.

The guesthouse is located in the village of "Vila dos Remedios", by the main road, but there is a fence separating the property from the road, so you do not actually see the road but you do hear some noise. So be aware: the guesthouse is not on the beach, it does not have a spectacular view (but very few guesthouses are and you will have to pay $$$$ to stay in them), nor is there a pool. However the terrace area is very cozy, with a few hammocks and there is a shower outside the guesthouse for you to wash of your scuba diving gear and the salt water off yourself. Some days we actually looked forward to spending the last afternoon hours just relaxing in the hammocks and enjoying a good book. There is also wi-fi available, but the reception is not very good (I reckon this is more because of the operator).

The guesthouse has only 4 rooms and the service is excellent. Our room was the biggest one, because we were three people. The guesthouse can be described as simple, but every detail was well thought of. The linen and the towels were of excellent quality, there was a mini-bar in the room, plus a cable TV with several movie channels, the air conditioning worked very well, the bed was great, there was a hair-dryer in the bathroom and everything was very well kept.
Another example of the great attention to detail is that there is a rack outside your room for you to hang your wet swim gear. The guests have a kitchen at the disposal where they may cook food and store bigger items in the refrigerator.

If you are a light sleeper, you might find the room isolation poor. At times you can hear what is going on in the neighboring room.

I am a huge breakfast fan and the breakfast at Naeipe was excellent! A lot of variety, very tasty and although we spent 5 days there it did not get repetitive. Eggs and tapioca are made to your preference and the selection of juices is great. In the afternoon, coffee, tea and cake are put out for you on the terrace.

Thank you Edilene and the rest of the staff for the lovely time we spent at the Pousada. We will sure recommend Pousada Naiepe to anybody going to Fernando de Noronha.

This lovely pousada completely exceeded our expectations! The rooms were simple but extremely clean, cosy and elegantly furnished. The highlight was the wonderful terrasse where you have breakfast and can chill on the hamacs at any time, as well as drink tea/coffee (always freshly prepared for you) with home made cakes. We made this our afternoon and evening hang out and stayed in most nights, ordering food from the neighbouring restaurant which delivers straight to the pousada, setting up the table on the terrasse.
Thank you to our wonderful host who goes out of her way to make our stay an exceptional one!

Wow, wow, wow! Have I been impressed by the owner (welcomes you in person, takes you on a tour, explains everything, helps you booking tours and advice on what best to do if you are short of time), the service (personalized in your own language a welcome message, home made brazilian cake in the room, breakfast how you want it!), the rooms really great with local touches and super clean! The location is perfect! Near great bars, restaurants, the most gorgeous beaches on the planet.. and also near the sights!!!

Room Tip: Any room is GREAT! its personalized with a specific welcome message from the owner, and a small piece of brazilian cake homemade by the owner! You have great local touches to the room, blends in perfectly with the environment and surroundings, rooms are clean, you see the sun rise and set every night from your window.. there is really not much more you can ask for!

this place is really nice, clean and in a good area of the island. The owners are welcoming and hospitable (the owner is attentive to every little need), the rooms are clean. If I return to Fernando de N. definitely would book this pousada.
