We had a corner table on the balcony w an attentive server. Ordered the "grilled lobster by the kg." for the four of us. The platter arrived w a pleasing presentation and the lobsters were delicious. Quite different from my hometown Maine/ Boston lobsters, but the lobsters were cooked perfectly. A bit of lime accentuated the taste and compensated for a bit of dryness created by the open flame, which was also interesting to watch the preparation while walking my baby grand daughter so mom could enjoy her meal. Would return for this lobster. Will try this at home as well.

The owner is a french legend and the view is amazing in the other side of the Mucugê. Ask for Lobster and Pizza. Wines with a good price but don't expect an luxury place ! Seens like Bahia and Arraial Dajuda propose : Flip floes and Never mind !

We went there yesterday and what a disappointment!

The food was distinctly average (=3/5) but what makes me give them a 2/5 is this:

The menu displayed outside shows prices lower than the menu you actually receive in the restaurant. That is a very cheap way to attract customers.

Atmosphere so-so as well.

Don't go

When you walk in to the restaurant you find thw owner (mr valentino-french) and a buket full of fresh lobsters. This was the reason we decided to stay even the place looked like the last time someone cleaned it was at leats 3 years ago. I'm serious.. feom the towel on the table filled with old steams to the toilet with spiders and cobwebs!!!
The lobster, despite they said it was grilled, they were boiled and salty. And the pasta within it was disgusting! At the end the mosquitos started to show up..... what a terrible experience!!!
Please do yourself a favor and DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE!!!!!!!
