My friend and I booked a spa package for one night at this wonderful hotel and would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking to get away from it all for a weekend. Boutique is the only word that could be used to describe this hotel. There are 4 suites each exquisitely decorated and very clean. We had the twin suite which opened out onto the luscious gardens and the view of the awesome Tepotzco massif.
Our package worked out to $1734 pesos each. This included a hydrotherapy session in the amazing hot tubs, a relaxing massage in the garden, continental breakfast with homemade banana bread and the twin room (with ample parking too!). The spa services were excellent and could be taken in the garden or in the privacy of your own suite. I actually paid extra for the facial and the exfoliation - both of which I highly recommend.
However, the main reason you should pick this hotel is the quality of the service. From the minute we had the pleasure of dealing with Liliana on the phone we knew we wanted to stay in this hotel over all the others in Tepotzlan. She was a superb guest services coordinator. She really went out of her way to make our visit special and we both came away with smiles on our faces.
I have already recommended this hotel to everyone I know - hopefully, Hotel Boutique Colibri will no longer remain as Tepotzlan's best kept secret!
