I was at the Fraser River Lodge this past weekend and had a wonderful and relaxing experience. Despite the fact I was on a "working" retreat, I did feel like I was having a mini vacation. The owners took us through a site visit to explain their venue concept and they did think of everything when it comes to enjoying the wilderness. Even though we weren't there for a fishing trip, I was impressed by all the special extra amenities they had for the would be fisherman - Not into fishing but now I want to experience a day of sturgeon fishing!
Very nice wedding facilities there as well! The chef and staff were very attentive and we enjoyed many great meals.
We were delighted by their "moving art" - the bison roaming around their acreage.
My room was simple but wanting for nothing. . .and the bed - I want it!
Part of our group also stayed at the outpost cabin - it is anything but! It is a fully equipped, new and modern home, perfect for getting everyone together in the evening. Kitchen and living room was large and comfortable. The balcony overlooks the bison pen and Mt Cheam - what a wonderful setting.
I highly recommend this property - especially for a group of people that want to get away, bond and be one with nature!More
