Twisted Cork is in the building previously occupied by Craig and Sally's, and it's now on our regular visit list. We ate their twice on this trip. The menu is varied and includes fresh fish (the blackened Mahi-Mahi was exceptional), some very nice appetizers including a fried calamari that was unusual and a welcome relief from that everyday standard presentation of this dish. They also serve a very tasty burger. Many of the veggies served are grown in their own small garden and picked fresh daily. The bar is friendly and well staffed. One disappointment are the highly touted "duck-fat" French Fries - It might have just been the night we ordered them but they could have been a bit crispier. All-in-all another winning restaurant for Frenchtown - don't be intimidated by the neighborhood, the best food is often in the place where rents are cheapest! Visit Twisted Cork, you won't be disappointed.
