Twisted Cork is in the building previously occupied by Craig and Sally's, and it's now on our regular visit list. We ate their twice on this trip. The menu is varied and includes fresh fish (the blackened Mahi-Mahi was exceptional), some very nice appetizers including a fried calamari that was unusual and a welcome relief from that everyday standard presentation of this dish. They also serve a very tasty burger. Many of the veggies served are grown in their own small garden and picked fresh daily. The bar is friendly and well staffed. One disappointment are the highly touted "duck-fat" French Fries - It might have just been the night we ordered them but they could have been a bit crispier. All-in-all another winning restaurant for Frenchtown - don't be intimidated by the neighborhood, the best food is often in the place where rents are cheapest! Visit Twisted Cork, you won't be disappointed.

Though the approach seemed a bit sketchy at night on foot when we didn't know where we were going, the place is pleasant and invting. The food is really fine, creative, fresh and attractively presented. Casual, but stylish table settings. Way beyond the usual tourist fare.

If you have visited St. Thomas and haven't sampled The Twisted Cork, you are REALLY missing out. Out last visit was a year ago (just after they opened), and I LOVED it as well.

This year, we went for lunch prior to our "Water Island" day. OMG. I had the Ham Sandwich with Brie and Carmelized Onions and Pineapples. WOW!! I had never tasted such a unique and flavorful combination.

My husband had the Twisted Burger and the combination of the Brisket and Ground Beef were very tasty as well.

Eric (Owner) was our server at the Bar. He was friendly (as usual) and his flowing conversation during our meal was appreciated as he back-filled all the things that had been happening on the island since we left last year.

PLEASE don't miss this place!

Food certainly was excellent. High quality and good service. Menu was rather small, but something for every taste. On top, everything seems to be fresh and is dimply delicious! Prices very good for the quality of food!

After cruising in the BVI's all day with the kids, we realized that we did not have reservations any where for Thanksgiving dinner....so, we headed in to French Town to see what we could find that would A) Be open and B) not require a reservation. We stumbled upon the Twisted Cork Cafe (thanks to Trip Advisor reviewers), entered the cafe and asked if we could have dinner; they asked if we had a reservation..we said no..they were full but welcomed us to sit at the lounge bar and dine with them. So glad we did! It appears that they have a regularly changing menu, but started with the pan seared foie gras...excellent! Then we had their Thanksgiving meal with oyster bacon stuffing...delightful! Other diners said that the Lion Fish is the absolute best and he does not often have it...so if you go and it's on the menu - grab it! They were crazy busy all evening and still managed to make us feel like we were the only guests in the room...highly recommend!
