“Pretty good spot for lunch”
Reviewed April 21, 2013

The by the glass wine list was nice, the food was great, the service was not so good, however. Even though we were one of three tables in the restaurant at the time, we had troubles with attentive service. The burger was wonderful and I loved the fries! BUT, the other sandwich, a kind of lamb French dip, was requested without mushrooms. The server assured us that the mushrooms were in the sauce, which would be on the side. Turned out, this was not true. The sandwich had mushrooms all through it. Mushrooms were not the issue, the issue was the server did not know what he was serving, nor did he try to be certain that our request could be met. Then, it took some time to get his attention so that the sandwich could be re-made. Once the sandwich was returned to the table, all was well again. The interior was a somewhat uninspired. I think next time, and there will be one, we will sit at the bar and try for dinner instead of lunch.

“What a surprise”
Reviewed April 13, 2013

Eric the owner use to work at Craig and Sally's and opened his own restaurant after the other restaurant closed. Eric is working hard to make sure that this restaurant is over the top great and it is. Very casual and decent prices. We will go back as the food is wonderful as is the service.

“Great new place”
Reviewed April 11, 2013

Delicious, inventive menu, super-friendly service. Formerly Craig & Sally's, but totally reconfigured. No view to speak of, but the Frenchtown area is one of the neatest non-beach places on St. Thomas. We'll definitely return to this restaurant.

“Wonderful Find”
Reviewed April 8, 2013

We visited the Twisted Cork near the end of March. It was recommended to us by Captain Bill and Chris (from the sail boat Eden). From the outside, it doesn't look like much. However, when you step inside, it's really quite lovely. The menu is very creative and the food was beautifully prepared and presented. The service was outstanding. In fact, it was the best meal we had during our vacation on St. Thomas.

“OUTSTANDING New Restaurant”
Reviewed April 8, 2013

We read some tips left by people who had stayed at one of the Best Western properties about this new restaurant and since it was our last night on the isalnd, we decided to take a chance. It was a Sunday eveing at 7:30 and we almost had the whole place to ourselves. Well, between our server EJ (Oregon native) and Eric (co-owner) and a chef that is flat out brilliant, we couldn't have ask for a better "last meal". The mussels appetizer? To die for. All 6 of us had different dinners and we each jealously guarded what we had. I had a pork chop special that was ridiculously good, one of the others had a magnificent Osso Buco, others had a chicken pesto special and on and on. I can also tell you this about dessert: MIND BLOWING!! I had a dessert called The Ballpark. I will not tell you what it is, only that if you love rich, decadent desserts, get this and then order more to be packaged and sent home in dry ice for later consumption. This dessert needs to be patented and sold worldwide. The wine list is really nice and the wine lovers in our group were more than happy. So with 4 apps,6 meals, 6 desserts and 2 bottles of wine, plus tip, how about less than $350. Can't beat it with a stick. This place was celebrating its 5th month in operation anniversary and I hope it's there forever. Awesome job, Eric and all, awesome job.
