We had christmas dinner there. Very delicious. Went back some days later for another meal. Still enjoyable. Great staff, fantastic views, and nicely decorated. The sorel cheesecake with nutmeg ice cream was a special delight. Suggest you skip the coffee and get the hot chocolate made with local organic cocoa.

We stayed at Petite Anse for the second time in November. We never go back to the same place twice, so that shows how good Annie and Philip have made this marvellous hotel. I can not find fault with anything at this destination. We stay in Palm which is right on the beach, with a fantastic balcony, making you feel like you have been washed up in a bounty advert. The rooms are large and comfortable with excellent air con, and all the facilities you need for relaxing - no air con in the bathroom, but you don't need it as it feels like you are showering in the tropics with the door open looking over the Caribbean sea!

The new chef Max has really improved the menu and will cook you anything you fancy if it is not already on the menu. All the staff are friendly and helpful and can't do enough for you. You can book this holiday through a few agents, but I recommend going to the hotel direct they will arrange everything for you, and the all inclusive option is great value for money.

We will definitely be back

Room Tip: Palm is well worth the little extra in price

First of all the staff were all wonderful and Philip and Annie great to meet. Petite Anse did not however quite live up to the expectations we had been prepared for from some TripAdvisor reviews. It is very isolated - not a problem with our hire car and this made for a bit of an adventure finding it. However, due to its isolation and vulnerability to the weather on the north, it is looking a bit worn in places already after only 3 years. The jacuzzi was not working, the beach was quite unkempt, the metal fixtures outside our room very rusty and a lot of the woodwork in need of varnishing or treatment. Drinks were great and food, considering how hard it must be to source local produce. I loved the colonial feel to the bar/dining area.

Room Tip: Use your imagination when trying to find places nearby. Signposts don't really exist and locals know lots of routes! :-) But do explore as much as possible as Grenada is unspoilt in the interior and very colourful.

Honeymooned here & loved it!! The owners, Philip & Annie, are so personable & fascinating & were constantly helping us arrange fun activities, even an invitation to have cocktails & appetizers at their home on the island! From watching the letherback turtles lay their eggs on Levera beach, to taking a cigarette boat to Sandy Island for a day trip, our stay was amazing, courtesy of Philip & Annie. I highly suggest going on a hike, enjoying a massage on your balcony by Dean, getting Max to take you to Fish Fridays, playing in the waves even though they are choppy, & embracing the quirky, laid-back lifestyle of Grenadians.
Room - Nutmeg, great bathroom, fabulous balcony with view of ocean
Food - large lunch menu, varying dinner menu, lots of nutmeg
Overall - relaxing, non-touristy, breathtaking
We spent our last two nights in St. George's at the Calabash. It paled in comparison to Petit Anse.. we found it snooty, stuffy & boring, with no big waves to play in!

Room Tip: Constant breeze is amazing - even if it is hot out, you won't know it!

If you want an exquisite setting and wonderful people, then look no further.
This hotel is a good hour from the tourist hub around Grande Anse and in style very different. It is quiet, calm and relaxed. It has no tourist infrastructure around it and for those looking for total seclusion it is a gem.
The owners are charming and very hands on, the staff friendly and efficient.
The rooms are more than adequate but the deluxe rooms are superb and worth every penny.
This hotel is off the beaten track so you need transport, but if you make it the view alone is worth the effort

Room Tip: 2 deluxe rooms are wonderful
