Almost Paradise Internet information details are pretty much what you get. We stayed in one of the blue cottages which we found adequately roomy for two with quaint interior decorations, a comfortable loft bedroom, large living room area, a compact fully equipped kitchen, large balcony looking over some stunning views with comfortable seating and a hammock. The unusual outside shower which, I was sceptical about to start with soon became an enjoyment after a hot day exploring or laying on the beach and with plenty of hot water. Kate and Ewes hospitality could not be questioned, they were very friendly, helpful with local information and additional supplies that we required including Kates home made bread. They offer a daily menu which was cooked by Ewe using local produce prepared fresh daily and no microwaves!! Kate's Rum punch and homemade cakes were delicious. This is not your usual four star Caribbean luxurious accommodation, quite an unusual Eco set up which to me was the attraction, very comfortable with all your basic needs. Lots of steps to and from the beach so need to be mobile but you can stop at stages to catch your breath. A short walk down to the beach via road or through the countryside and the Hotel by the beach is happy for you to use their pool if purchasing drinks/food at the bar. We found Grenada a lovely place to explore, lots of places of interest, beautiful scenery and found the locals friendly. We found the hire car very useful for exploring. All in all a great holiday location.
