We did the following transfers in Cuba with Taxi Vinales in February and March 2020: from Habana Airport to Habana Old Town, from Habana to Vinales, from Vinales to Trinidad and from Trinidad to Playa Jibacoa, all together more than 1000 kilometers with different drivers and cars. We booked all transfers in advance from home. We had to pay the transfers in advance which was something that made me a bit nervous at the beginning.
But don’t worry, everything worked perfect: all drivers were at the pickup places before schedule (15-20 minutes) and the cars (taxis) were really good. The drivers were very kind and drove very carefully and made a break whenever we asked for one. All in all, the rides were very pleasant and we can fully recommend this service. And in addition, it was no problem at all to get in contact with Taxi Vinales via email. They answered each request very quickly (thank you Juan!). If ever I travel to Cuba again, I will book transfers with Taxi Vinales, for sure!

I hired Taxi Vinales for three inter-city trips in Feb. 2020 - Havana to Trinidad, Trinidad to Camagúez and Camagúez to Santiago. I was very happy and completely satisfied each time. The drivers always showed up a few minutes earlier than scheduled. The cars were clean, comfortable and air conditioned. And the drivers were friendly and even helped me improve my Spanish. i recommend Taxi Vinales without hesitation.

Due to the current coronavirus outbreak, we had to cancel our trip to Cuba. So, this review is only based on the customer service experience we had when booking and requesting a refund.

Communication during the booking process was frequent. Maybe even a little too frequent? :-) I must have a thread of emails with about 12 replies back and forth. Either way, too much communication is not really a bad thing, it made me feel confident about my booking.

Canceling was even better. I advised them our trip was canceled and they agreed to a refund as quickly as possible. I had the refund in under a week. Additionally, a lot of the time when a refund is issued to a credit card the company actually just issues a credit. In this case, this company pushed a refund against the original transaction. This ensured I did not lose my conversion fees or lose funds due to the conversion rate changing between the time I booked to the time I received a refund.

I read through some of the 1-star reviews. I can see some people have had trouble with the actual rides themselves. It seems though, for the majority, the experience is quite good.
