The hotel was not too easy to find for us - the first day driving around Havana. Coming from Viñales instead of Pinar del Rio seems to require less directions on the road. The hotel however looked very nice, we had a room located a few hundred meters from the main building. It was quite dated, and the doors didn't look very strong. We had two double beds which were average but not too spacious. The - square - pool was nice, but we could have done without the loud music all the time. Some of the shops we've not seen opened (cigar shop in particular).
The bartenders seemed to be quite 'tip' focused, but I don't really understand why they didn't work a bit harder for it - not overly friendly.
The hotel however is a good place to do horse rides and a visit to Viñales. Some nice Paladar restaurants walking distance from it. The restaurant inside the hotel was not too bad either, but to me there seemed not too much difference between the breakfast and dinner buffet offering.More
