We stayed with Marisol at the beginning of June. Right from the moment of arrival, we felt at home in her casa. The room was clean, the food was amazing and Marisol is an awesome host. She is very sweet, helpful and friendly. We were excited to try some of her home-made cookies and jam. She was also very patient in teaching us some new Spanish phrases, while we talked with her. The casa is located centrally in Vinales, but on a side street with no traffic running by. There was also a place to park in her front yard.

We (me and my twin sister, 20) spent and unforgettable stay at Villa Marisol with Marisol and Roxana. Despite the rainy weather, Marisol put all her effort in making our stay the best possible and it was a complete success. We stayed 2 nights and made the most of it: the first day Marisol recommended us to go to the Mirador de la Ermita to have a beautiful sight of the valley as the weather wasn't the appropriate to do anything else and the second one she organised us the horse back riding trip with Michel as guide. We did two stops: one at a tobacco factory and the other one to a cave where we had a short swim. Even under the unusual clouds the landscape was stunning. I would definitely recommend this place to visit. The food at Villa Marisol is also a must: you won't be disappointed and the mojitos are also epic! Marisol is very friendly and has always a smile for you. We won't forget the singing nights sharing Spanish and Cuban music with Roxana as well, very good memories!!

Marisol looked after all my family so well when we stayed for a week in April. We unfortunately had a moped accident returning from the beach but were so lucky to have chosen Villa Marisol. The house is well positioned, quiet, and spotless and Marisol was so friendly and helpful in providing excellent meals and arranging the local medical care that we needed. Nothing was too much trouble for her and she always has a cheerful smile. Marilyn , her neighbour helps her with her English but we had lots of fun helping her to learn . Vinales is a beautiful area to relax and explore and Marisol will ensure that you have a superb time.

Room Tip: One good sized room with a private bathroom. Marisol's daughter , Roxanne vacated her room so all my family could stay at the guesthouse together.

We stayed a week with Marisol and Roxanna and had an amazing time. She cooked fantastic food, and it was a very cheerful atmosphere. It´s a really central location in Viñales, and the house is clean, spacious and colourful. It´s my favourite place in Cuba- the town is beautiful. I recommend the tour to the caves especially. Highly recommended. say hi from me!! Tom .

Room Tip: son todos buenos

We stayed with Marisol for 3 nights & had a lovely stay. Marisol met us at the bus, she is so friendly & her little house was very welcoming. The room & bathroom were immaculately clean with fresh towels each day. We ate breakfast & dinner at Marisols every day and her cooking was amazing, the portions were huge, definitely some of the best food we had in Cuba. Marisol can arrange a number of activities around Vinales and offers her own services including meals, cocktails & laundry. Marisol made phone calls for us to confirm our next casa & to help us sort out a problem with our bus tickets which was very helpful given our limited spanish! Even though she only speaks a little bit of english, Marisol was very enthusiastic & patient which made communication easier. I would definitely recommend her casa to anyone visiting Vinales.
