“Gorgeous Views”
Reviewed January 4, 2013

After reading a review on TA, I decided to introduce my bf's local family to some new spots. After growing up on the island, they had never been to the wonderful Bottom Bay! Views were picturesque and there's a lovely quiet/secluded beach.

Waters are rough, so its not the best swimming on the island, but all you need is a beach chair, some sun tan lotion and a camera.

“BEA U tiful”

This place is incredible! It is a must see when in Barbados. You will not regret the view. Its that view when you see a picture and you think to yourself wow that looks like paradise! That is here take your own picture of paradise. I have been here twice this visit and even on a cloudy day its a great trip. There are lots of amazing beaches and things to do while in Barbados I would suggest if you only have a short amount of time and are in a group, get a driver to drive you around the island and see all the must see places. If you are alone as I often am as my work brings me on my travels there are tour companies that come highly recommended by travelers and locals alike.

“Beautiful beach and secluded”
Reviewed December 31, 2012

It was tricky to find Bottom Bay as we only had a tourist map from the hotel and the roads in Barbados are not well signed. The sign off the main road was at "Apple Hill" and it was a small sign up on a pole that pointed to the beach.

Once there, the beach was empty and beautiful as others have indicated. We didn't swim but the surf looked a bit rough so be careful if you go in the water.

“A Hidden Gem of Barbados”

Bottom Bay will NOT disappoint. My favorite beach in Barbados! Most months of the year you will probably have the beach to yourself. It is a picture perfect beach, white sand, azul water, coconut palms. You can easily spend the entire day here, swimming is also really fun here but you have to go on a day where the current isn't that strong. A must go if you are renting a car! It is a bit challenging getting there if its your first time, but there is a sign when you are getting close. Enjoy!

A quiet romantic cove on the eastern side of the island. Perfect for weddings and relaxing. A bit remote, so don't take your valuables.
