Bit tricky to find. Good value for money is a good point but sited on a small industrial estate. Behind the hotel is a builders merchants and behind that a rubiish tip both of which started work at 7.30 am and woke us up meaning we left earlier than normal. Ask for a room at the front of this place to avoid our experience.

Ideally located and only a 5 minute walk into Porthmadog, very easy to access by car, plenty of parking spaces. An excellent Breakfast Cafe located on the adjacent Trading Estate. Very clean and staff very helpful.

Does what you expect and does it well. Comfy bed, great night's sleep, clean room, clean bathroom. For a one or two night stay and seen as somewhere to just get your head down its fine but don't expect an exhilerating view, uless you're into wood yards. Skip the breakfast box unless you're in a rush and o round the corner to "Breaktimes" - just follow the signs. They are a slick cafe offering good food at sensible prices. Lots of options for a cooked breakfast.

Staying for 2 nights as part of a large party.
Close enough to town for facilities but far enough away to be peaceful.
Rooms clean and beds comfy.
Staff friendly and helpful, a credit to the hotel chain.

Only meh factors:
Only a couple of wall sockets in the room
Cost of on site Wifi (£5 for an hour!!!!!!!!!!!)

Stayed here over a weekend with a large group of friends. It was a bit basic, but for the price, and what we needed it for, it was spot on. The rooms were clean, the beds were comfortable, and the location was ideal. Not too far from town that it was a slog to walk in, and spot on for roads to places we wanted to get to..

What made it special was the staff. They were all very friendly and helpful. When I arrived with a friend, there was only one bed in the room despite ordering a twin. In ten minutes another bed had been put in and made up. Everyone that was part of the group had something positive to say about them, and the place in general. Well done!

My family and I stayed here for one night so we could see one of my eldest sons who's working about 9 miles away at the Haven (hafan y mor). We stayed here because holiday lets and parks don't let you stay for a night so this was ideal at £50 for the night.
The gentleman on the desk when we came was very helpful and said if we needed anything from extra pillows, milk, tea or coffee just ask.
Rooms have been done out to the new standard which are clean an comfortable. We were on second floor and had lovely views of the hillsides.
When leaving, the lady on the desk was lovely and we chatted about our visit.
Cafe just around the corner (breakfast times) is great for your start for the day and filled me up until late afternoon. I will leave review for this too.
Overall: I would defiantly stay here again because its local to the town, close drive to the nearest beach and great hillside walks.
