We ate here last night and were really impressed. The restaurant was bright and welcoming with a log fire burning- great on a cold night! The soup was sweet potato and coconut and was the best soup I think we have ever had - absolutely delicious. Served with gorgeous homemade bread- also outstanding.
The front of house was perfect, the wine was good, overall a lovely experience.

Visited here in July....been trying for ages but it is not open every night. Best to book. Small restaurant...seems to be one guy cooking and one person doing front of house. Small menu...a good sign!....a lot of local and fresh seafood but the venison(Sika deer) was outstanding.
Friendly, knowledgable waitress, great food, great service and reasonably priced too.
There were six of us and we will all go back...definitely recommend it...

Very nice restaurant serving quality food - overall good value for money but beware you will need to book as it is not a big restaurant and very popular

Fantastic restaurant and excellent food, all fish/shellfish freshly caught. We were even given the name of the person who caught the fish. The staff were excellent, very accommodating and fantastic atmosphere. Could not fault this restaurant and would highly recommend it.

We went here just for somewhere different from our hotel and it was a superb evening! Firstly don't be put off by the outside which is just a little door with a plastic awning you can guarantee you won't be disappointed. It is a small restaurant do make sure you book, the decor is quaint and not what we are now brainwashed into thinking is what we want but when yous it there and talk to the lovely girl who serves you, you fall in love with the place. We had the most divine home made bread whilst we ordered. The food was just delicious and far beyond what we were expecting. I had monk fish to start and my other half Cajun chicken salad and they were executed with such finesse and amazing flavours, the same for the main course which was equally as wonderful, but be warned the portions are massive and it will be ha to waddle home afterwards. Everyone in the restaurant smiled and was having a lovely time. Seriously try this place you will love it!! Thank you for a wonderful time I really hope we get to come again
